Amid the grim international news and political problems for him at home, Biden and the first lady headed out Wednesday for tropical St. Croix, where they are expected to spend the New Year.
If ever there was a time for the commander-in-chief of the United States military to forgo their vacation time and stay close to the home front, it’s right now. Houthi rebels in Yemen launched a barrage of drones and missiles Tuesday morning on America troops, with the onslaught lasting 10 hours. ‘President’ Joe Biden decided that would be a great time to take yet another luxury vacation in the Caribbean.

As of August 18, 2023, Biden had spent 382 days or 40% of his presidency out of office – days spent on vacation, personal business, or just regular days at one of his Delaware homes. If you were the manager at Taco Bell, taking vacation 40% of the time would drive your restaurant into swift ruin. The White House is no different. As we approach the last year of Barack Obama’s third term, pretended over by Joe Biden, we see a rudderless nation with no direction, drowning in debt with an army unable to meet their recruitment goals. If it was a Republican president jetting to St. Croix in the midst of all this economic and military chaos, they’d be lambasted in the media on an hourly basis. But because it’s a Democrat, you likely don’t even know Biden has left the country. 2024 is going to be a fun year, if you think reading Revelation is ‘fun’. Which, of course, we do. Biden headed to the White House for just 24 hours before a week-long vacation in the luxurious Caribbean island of St. Croix
FROM THE DAILY MAIL UK: President Joe Biden returned from Camp David Tuesday for a day at the White House, with plans to start a family vacation in the U.S. Virgin Islands just hours away.
The president traveled from the presidential retreat in Maryland by motorcade, after rain and fog kept him out of the presidential helicopter and its quick commute. Reporters caught just a glimpse of him entering the White House after the 90-minute trip.
First lady Jill Biden lingered slightly, grabbing her coat from the presidential SUV that sometimes stands in for the presidential limo, known as ‘the Beast.’ Since he didn’t travel by air to the South Lawn, reporters didn’t get the chance to question him upon his arrival about the domestic and international issues most likely to intrude on his planned getaway.
