Be memorable!

July 15, 2010 is a day I bookmarked as a day to be remembered.

It was the first time, when I walked into the room, that my grandson, David Lee, got up with joy on his face and excitedly walked over to me on his little wobbly legs and put his arms up for me to hold him.

What a precious and priceless memory.

However, in the same journal entry from that day I also reflected on my dear father-in-law, Sam Knight, who was in year 10 of a long torturous journey through the nightmare of Alzheimer’s disease.

In those days, when I came into his room no lights lit up on his eyes – he once knew me, but no more.

It is a privilege and joy to be known. But it is an even greater privilege to be remembered.

The question I have for you today is: How do you want to be remember?

The question I have for you today is:
How do you want to be remembered?

The answer to that question must impact how you live today.

The ONE THING for today: Be memorable…in the best way.
