    I meant in the cog denomination.but forgot to add that part and can’t edit it now from my phone. Of course it has changed in US society.

    I consider it an under discussed topic.

    It is the fault of the men of the COG to follow scripture on the subject. They failed to address feminism as it infiltrated the church.

    One of the issues has been the example of co-pastoral leadership.
    It has diminished the role of the Scriptural husband and wife.

    In discussions with COG people, it just seems like many of them are a bit ‘liberal’ for Pentecostal Fundamentalists when it comes to the issue of wives submitting to their husbands. I wonder how much of that is recent and how much is historical.

    I think it is resent beginning with the secular feminist movement which is not so recent

    conservative fundamental independent baptist are a 10 on a scale of 1 – 10 for wives being submissive. What would COG be in that scale?
