Chip Ingram puts out a small work book called Why I Believe. It was helpful to me and even my teenage daughters enjoy using it as they stand up for their faith to even their own teachers sometimes. I am so proud of my kid’s faith.

MOST IMPORTANT, become a “master questioner”. “THE BURDEN OF PROOF FALLS ON THE PROSECUTION”. When Witnessing to others, we never want to be “up against the ropes” defending our Faith to Atheists or ANYONE. Through a loving heart and tongue, make them prove to you, that Christ doesn’t exist by, with love, putting them against the ropes defending their “faith” and “religion” of Atheism. They will NEVER be able to prove there is no God. Human pride will never allow them to admit that you were correct in one Witnessing session. Our goal is simply to place a pea underneath their mattress so “the door is cracked open”. Abba Jesus will do the rest. -Sincerely, Former Atheist. ??

First and foremost, read your Bible. Not only read it, meditate on it day and night and live by it!
Secondly, apologetics is such a vast field. I suggest pick a subject matter. Are you trying to witness to a group of people such as Muslims? Or Jehovah’s Witnesses or are you trying to learn about creationism versus evolution?

There is the Apologetics Bible you can buy for $10 Kindle version on Amazon. Theology You Can Count on by Tony Evans. Google him and buy the book from his website. That teaches you Systematic b Theology, major subjects of the faith by topic. Study RC Sproul’s teaching series & books. He taught Reformed Theology & Church history and he put his classes on the air. Read & study the 1st century historian Jocefus. I am probably spelling his name wrong but he tell us about the end of the lives of Christian men like Peter Paul John the lover, ect study Hebrew and common Greek study the Bible. Look on goodreads a Facebook for book lovers for recommendations too. There is the Handbook of Christian Apologetics. Robbie Zacharias is the master defender of the faith read his books follow his Ministry. I think he has a website and a newsletter and CDs from his lecture. To learn Theology of art. Read Art & the Bible by Francis Shaeffer. Listen to the Beauty of the Arts by RC Sproul. You can find Dr Sproul’s ministry at Ligionier Ministries. May God bless you on yr journey my brother. Dr Sproul also takes about godly philosophy government economics in his book Christian Worldview. Finding Divine Inspiration has Jesus using figurative language. A lot of the Bible is written in figurative language so Google and study that that will help you understand the Bible better. Parts of the Bible is meant to be understood figuratively not literally. Most Americans are literal thinkers . But some of the Bible is in figurative language. Like take the tree out of your own eye. You are who my heart loves ECT. The last two Biblical statement are not to be taken literally. They are both hyperbole. If you take it literally you distort what God is saying. Thx for asking this ? It is a great ? Csnty wait to you see you in the battlefield with us someday. But don’t come until the pastor says you are ready. Read Choose by God by Dr. Sproul & get the teaching series from Tony Evan called Eternal Security. We get a lot of ? on eternal Security out here so listen to his series first. Google Tony Evan and get it from his store listen to his messages for free you can hear Dr y for free on Ligionier Ministries website. Justin Peters does an excellent job with false prophets. Go to YouTube to find his 17 videos on that topic. Learn about heaven and hell from Tony Evans. Check out the video on YouTube wolves in sheep’s clothing. There are books on Amazon that teach e how to read Hebrew. Buy the John Hagee Prophecy Study Bible from Amazon. Grant Jeffrey did a video series called the Signature of God

Frank Turek’s book, “I Don’t Have Enough Faith To Be An Atheist,” is a wonderful, apologetic dismantling of Darwin’s uninformed guesswork. He competently presents decades of groundless, pseudo-science attempts of various members of the Scientific Community to prop up Darwin’s mythical assertions. I highly recommend it!

Evidence that the Bible is God’s Word
Here are five reasons to show that the Bible is the Word of God.First, the Bible is the Word of God because of its scientific accuracy. For instance, in Job 26:7, it is written that God “hangeth the earth upon nothing” How did Job know that the earth hung in space before the age of modern astronomy and space travel? The Holy Spirit told him. Also, scientists of Isaiah’s day didn’t know the topography of the earth, but Isaiah said, “It is [God] that sitteth upon the circle of the earth” (Isaiah 40:22). The word for “circle” here means a globe or sphere. How did Isaiah know that God say upon the circle of the earth? By divine inspiration.
Secondly, the Bible is affirmed through historical accuracy. There’s a story about handwriting on the wall that is found in the fifth chapter of Daniel? Belshazzar hosted a feast where a hand appeared out of nowhere and began to write on a wall. The king asked for someone to interpret the writing. Daniel gave the interpretation. Basing their opinion on Babylonian records, the historians claim this never happened. According to the records, the last king of Babylon was not Belshazzar, Nabonidas. And so, they said, the Bible is in error. There wasn’t a record of a king named Belshazzar. Well, archeologists uncovered in 1853, an inscription that was found on a cornerstone of a temple built by Nabonidas, to the god Ur, which read: “May I, Nabonidas, king of Babylon, not sin against thee. And may reverence for thee dwell in the heart of Belshazzar, my first-born favorite son.” From other inscriptions, it was learned that Belshazzar and Nabonidas were co-regents. Nabonidas traveled while Belshazzar stayed home to run the kingdom. Now that we know that Belshazzar and Nabonidas were co-regents, it makes sense that Belshazzar would say that Daniel would be the third ruler. Proving, along with so much else. The historical accuracy of the Word of God.
Third, from Genesis to Revelation, the Bible reads as one book. And there is incredible unity to the Bible. The Bible is one book, and yet it is made up of 66 books, was written by at least 40 different authors over a period of about 1600 years, in 13 different countries and on three different continents. It was written in at least three different languages by people in all professions. The Bible forms one beautiful temple of truth that does not contradict itself theologically, morally, ethically, doctrinally, scientifically, historically, or in any other way. This shows there was really one author; the Holy Spirit.
Fourth, it has been uncovered that the Bible is the only book in the world with accurate prophecy. When you read the prophecies of the Bible, you simply have to stand back in awe. There are over 300 precise prophecies that deal with Jesus Christ in the Old Testament that are fulfilled in the New Testament. To say that these are fulfilled by chance is an astronomical impossibility.
Finally, the Bible is a Book of the Ages. First Peter 1:25 says: “But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the Word which by the gospel is preached unto you.” No book has ever had as much opposition as the Bible. Men have laughed at it, scorned it, burned it, ridiculed it, and made laws against it. But the Word of God has survived. And it is applicable today as much as it was yesterday and will be tomorrow.
It’s so majestically deep that scholars could swim and never touch the bottom. Yet so wonderfully shallow that a little child could come and get a drink of water from it without a fear of drowning.
The Bible is God’s precious, scientifically accurate, historical Holy Word. We can be guided by faith in it all the more in knowing that it is true. -

You can take various courses from the RZIM(Ravi Zacharias International Ministries) Academy. I just finished The Core Module and it was phenomenal! It covers a wide range of topics to get you started and then there are several electives courses you can take after.
