CECO’S Or something like that

WE have a small congregation, but this Easter we had a pretty good crowd, probably 80+, normally 40-50. We finally got one grandson, wife and two sons in church that day, I was shocked and pleased. I accompanied the boys to children's church since they had never been, and they really enjoyed it. The leaders were great. Later in the week I heard something like the pastor doesn't care for people who don't attend church a lot.

Since I wasn't in the worship service I asked around. Yes, the pastor mentioned CECO's ( something like that, talking about people who attend twice a year, maybe it was Christmas Easter Christians Only. Is there a cute name for those folks now. I am not sure if Matt and family (especially the wife) will ever be back. Why would anyone not try their best to encourage those there for their once or twice a year to want to come back? For Matt & family it is a no times a year. WE were so glad to get them there for ONE time. Hopefully it will happen again.

I am beginning to see why the community churches in our area are growing.
