Most prosperous democracies are secular. There is no reason why the world could not be a single democracy.
Imagine the obscene amount of resources the world spends on “defense” being spent on health, education, etc.
Imagine a world in which the obscene disparity between multi-billionaires and the desperate, barely able to keep alive, could be eased.

From what I have just witnessed in another group I am learning from on Facebook, even Jewish people are very aware of the times We’re living in and some are saying it is closing to “the end of the age”–their words exactly!!! I don’t know what you all think about that but it is something that has made me sit up and pay attention.

I never liked this song. To me it is very anti-Christ. It was written during the Vietnam War and at a time when the spirit of rebellion was very strong. God was removed from public schools in 1962 by the US Supreme Court. Society at the time seemed to rebelling against God and I think this song reflects the mood of that time.

I have always despised this song. However, I guess we should embrace it. As the new world order takes over. Christians now that Christ’s return is closer.

Honestly, and I’m not trying to upset anyone, the OP asked for my opinion and I’m going to give it. Personally, I think the next time a Democrat is elected to the presidency that, within the first four years of office, the US will fall as a sovereign nation and the one world govt will be ushered in. We are that close.

If the Apostles during his time believed His return is near. How much more this time? Its 2 thousand years after. I think we are much closer.In the bible, there are signs of Christ’s coming somewhere in Matthew 24, i believe. Earthquakes, famines… false prophets (and there are some in my country), rumors of war like the world war lll. But these are all just signs.
What the bible clearly says when the day Christ will come is when the sun and the moon doesnt shine and everything is falling apart literally even the stars, then Jesus will come.

Believers in Messiah are essentially globalists who recognize that we must stay in nations until the perfect Christ reigns because false leaders are treacherous and antichrist is looking for power and glory that belongs to Christ.

Of course there will be. History tells us that. Hitler wanted a third reich. Currently the UN has stated for a one world government within 12 years. The Catholic Pope has stated we need one. Many Elites such as Bill Gates state it too. China would love a one world government. Much of its technology will be used. They are trialling a cashless technology as we speak. We have the IMF handing out economic ratings. The WHO, criminal court in the Hague and the EU is a model for a one world government with a single currency.
So Believe we are close within next few decades. The corona virus has seen a call for more cooperation and to give WHO more power to investigate. I think there was a British MP, Brown?, calling for a OWG. -
