Does Ephesians 2:8-9 really teach Sola Fide? If so, what works did Paul mentioned?
Works apart from the Gospel, or works that refer to the obedience to the Gospel?

The great commandments produce the great commision..

It means are saved by grace through Jesus. After you get saved you do your part to get the gospel out and to teach people about Jesus

The Gospel is not law. There is nothing to be obeyed. The God works we do are good according to tgmhe law we canr’t majmke up our ow. Nor do they count on any credit to salvation. Faith itself is the gift of God and with it come the free gift of salvation, to put it another way.

There is no salvation by works because all of our righteousness are as filthy rags! Isaiah 64:6.
And He wants righteousness to be without spot or wrinkle. Ephesians 5:27. -
when essentials for salvation is what we are going to talk about? are faith and works exclusive on each other? does it really need to say faith vs works when there is a discussion about it? what can you say about this? faith vs works or faith alone vs faith plus works?

The works Paul refers to are the works that point to an evidence of true and saving Faith. No we are not saved by works but true faith and God’s grace always produces good works and therefore those works are God’s evidence to us, the believer that we have truly been called and saved, even so sons and daughters of God. James speaks of these works as well he says ill show you my faith by my works

These works are reffering to m
Mosaic law such as moral,spiritual, social law.
The Pharisees teaches that one must oserved all these things to be saved, and these beleif influenced the earlt christians such as circimssions,observing Jewish manners and custom. These teachings however; has reformed in acts 15.
The by grace is the act of God towards mankind, the word means a response of man towards God. -
Faith alone does not save

Ephesians 2:10, NASB: “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.”
verses 8-9, is salvation by grace thru faith. Both grace and faith is a gift from the Holy Spirit.
…(Salvation)Is not by works,so no man can boast.
True faith has corresponding action
…the act is the indicator of the fruit of the spirit! Salvation is all the work of God.
