Does Jesus forgive a Sin (intentional sin) after repentence? For instance, I very well know that the thing that I’m going to do is wrong and not pleasing to god. I then think, God is not going to forgive me doing it and after sometime think that i don’t care, I can’t control my urge to do it so im going to do it and just brush away fear about Jesus.

Jesus told us to forgive 70*7, of course the sentence is figurative. What He means is we must forgive as much as we can. In like manner, God is a forgiving God that He always waited for us to ask forgiveness. But everything will be put into judgment, whether good or evil during that judgment day

1 John 5 speaks about this directly. We should pray to God, and if we are truly repentant we can have confidence in His forgiveness – even if we don’t deserve it.
But note that there are sins that are “mortal” (deadly). If we choose to sin in a serious way, we are actively cutting ourselves out of Christ. Yes, we lose our salvation – by our own free will.

Then there is technically 2 sins going on. The sin you’re about to commit and also premeditated (willful) sin. And yes God will forgive you of both and Grant you repentance if you go to him about this lol. God bless you.

7×77 times… ? That’s relationship restorative forgiveness. Not penalty of sin forgiveness. That was dealt with when you became a christian.

I would think so, but that it’s also much harder. But, you can probably figure that out better than I can.

You can’t deliver yourself. Ask God to help you and do not ever feel that good will hold that against you. Its consequences for sin. But Gods grace is sufficient.

I don’t think this is theologically difficult.
Jesus died for ALL sin. Which sin? ALL.
Now you have to answer this to God alone not me or the internet or anyone else.
Jesus said if you love me, keep my commands. Do you love Jesus? I am taking serious love. Because he was serious about his love for you when he died on the cross.
Lastly if you don’t love him, why should he forgive your sin?
Again please don’t answer those questions. They are for you alone to pray to God about and reflect on.

You are not given a license to sin because the bible says a soul that sins die . However you need to know that there is sin that God will not excuse that is insulting the holy spirit. If you like to have power to overcome sin you have to be born again and be filled by the holy spirit.

This is interesting God understands we are dust, and if He punished us we ‘ll not come back. He chastises us that we be little afraid to sin and be disciplined. It depends on degree. While every sin is sin consequences may vary.

Wisdom would do best to exercise patience and self-control in spirit and ask the Lord to shield from the temptation to sin and remain Christ centered.

One of the ten commandments says do not commit adultery. Which also includes having adulterous thoughts. We know its a sin and we shouldn’t be doing. We know that god knows our thoughts and feelings including the ones that says it will not please God if we committed this sin but we still do because we dont have self control. Will God still forgive for that sin when we repent?

God knows everything, he also knows that we will sin again.. so does he forgive us at the time we repent about the sin or sins we had committed in the past? But we sure do sin most of the days? Does god still forgive?

You’re still going to sin after being saved. The difference is that it should feel like a war. Repent means to turn from and we do. But we will always struggle with our sin until Jesus comes back

He will forgive over and over again as long as you ask, and are repentant and do your best to not do it again. We all mess up.

1 Corinthians 10:13 says with every temptation He will make a way of escape.
The main issue here is the attitude that you are going into your sin with. Sins that require planning and premeditation should be easier to overcome than ones that spring up out of us suddenly.
Speaking from experience, I called myself a Christian for 20 years and had the same attitude toward my sin. I was a false convert. Finally I learned how serious my sin is to God, what repentance really means and I fell on face and cried out to Him to forgive me and cleanse me for the first time. Everything changed after that.
If you can shrug your shoulders and willingly sin, you have cause to be concerned. Our sin should grieve us deeply. Examine yourself, to see if you are in the faith – 2 Corinthians 13:5.

Hmmm… willfully sinning in the name of Yeshua? Is that really where the Spirit of Truth leads us?

Believers are believers because they believe Christ’s atonement (payment for the cost of sin) was done at the cross. That means you’re sins are “paid up” and the “redemption coupon” will be presented at the rapture.
I think I would view this as the example in the Bible. We are adopted children, joint heirs with Christ. You are forever His child, but when you rebel or sin, confession and apology are key. You “repented…made a turnaround…when you believed and received the gift of Christ’s payment. You will, as long as you live, be in the process of sanctification…growing and maturing and becoming prepared for the work Christ has for you. Ups and downs. Forgiven, as a father will always forgive a child.
That’s my opinion, anyway.

The price has been paid for those who believe. Past, present and future sin. We will all go to the grave with sin in our lives that has not been repented of.

I believe that our sins are forgiven. We are free to do what we want I guess but we are not free from the consequences of that sin. The more you willfully sin the more separated you become in your relationship with God.

Sin is not forgiven progressively as if God is locked in time and continuously forgiving various sins. All sin was forgiven once and for all at Calvary (see Hebrews 7:27)

When you are filled with the Holy Spirit, increasingly you won’t want to cave to your flesh. The Holy Spirit gives self control. If you continue to do that sin over and over willfully, then you might want to examine your faith status

Repentance means to turn away! Temptation will always lure you; resist and Satan will flee! Choose that which brings glory to God, even in the hard things. God will chastise and bless. Resist/repent

Sure wish we would observe Abraham’s walk. He is the father of faith after all. Abraham had no law, no book or no other preaching at him. He had only the voice of our God. He was credited with this: obeying everything he was commanded believing all that he was promised. Even obeyed a statute as a sign of a covenant… though he was walking by faith beforehand. He was commended “by God” for obeying all of His commands and His statutes and became God’s friend. Our God called him a friend… think about this my friends.
The Word of Yeshua is the same voice that Abraham heard long ago.
Test: will we find fault in the one God called “friend”? …or will we see Abraham as our God did? If you find fault… you have not been perfected in your faith. Return to your first love then…

Well you shouldn’t do it as your conscience tells you but as for the sin judgement Jesus has already taken care of that on the cross .. God the Father exhausted His wrath on our Lord Jesus so we wouldn’t experience judgment amen

It’s not a free ticket to sin..willingly sinning I would think means that the Holy Spirit is missing. We are released from the anchor of sin but after you’re saved you still sin grudgingly.

With these questions people are asking all they have to do is read the word of God and you will see Ende know when the disciples asked Jesus how often should they forgive their brother Jesus said 70×7 which means indefinitely for the same thing he would not tell us to do something that he himself would not do he knows everything about us he has already suffered and died for our sins.. he has already paid the price all we have to do my friends is read Gods word for ourselves

When Christ was crucified, how much of your sin was nailed to the Cross? All of it. Your dead spirit is breathed to life by Almighty God and you are justified before him the moment you believe in Jesus.
Once your spirit is alive, it is forever alive. You will still sin and you will suffer the earthly consequences for those sins. You reap what you sew on this planet.
However, once God has adopted you as His child, you are His child for eternity. You may stumble, you may fall, you may even walk away-sometimes for years. God does not turn away, EVER. He continues to seek, woo, chastise, and love you RELENTLESSLY until you DO turn back.
Salvation depends on God’s faithfulness, not on yours.

Two aspects of sin: Judicial versus relational. When you believe in Christ, your sins are forgiven, past, present, and future from a judicial aspect. Judicial meaning you are now longer judged for your sin. Romans 8:28. Relationally, sin after coming to faith creates a barrier between us and God. I think of it like a marriage. I’m legally married. If I offend my wife, we’re still legally married but we may not be speaking to each other and things might even get a little chilly (silent treatment). We’re still married but the relationship is strained.
