From a bible study last night: is the figure portrayed in Daniel 10, the same figure from Revalation 1?

The ancient of days is a picture of the son of man as the true God overcoming the false God Baal. Riding on clouds of glory was consistent with both . so in both revelation and Daniel you see the same image of defeating false deities like in the exodus.
