Has anyone else been watching The Promised Land?

This series is a retelling of the Exodus story through the storytelling device of a workplace documentary comedy. It feels like Exodus meets The Office. The series has been respectful of the source material (the Bible) while still making a compelling story that is often pretty funny. There have been really funny moments, very serious moments (the golden idol), and well-written human relationships. Season 1 is 6 episodes, and 4 episodes have aired so far.
