HE GIVES ME LIVING WATER AND I THIRST NO MORE
I woke up this morning with ANOTHER beautiful and very powerful song in my heart this morning so again, I’m going to bless you with this!
The joy of the LORD is my strength
Oh, the joy of the LORD is my strength.
He gives me living water and I THIRST NO MORE
For the joy of the LORD is my strength
If you want joy you must sing for it
For the joy of the LORD is my strength] “Then Nehemiah the governor, Ezra the priest and teacher of the Law, and the Levites who were instructing the people said to them all, “This day is holy to the LORD your God. DO NOT MOURN OR WEEP… “Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared. THIS DAY IS HOLY TO OUR LORD. Do not grieve, for THE JOY OF THE LORD IS YOUR STRENGTH.” (Neh. 8:9-10) [Religious joy, appropriately strengthened with our continual dependence on our Abba Father, along with our meekness of mind, is a great means of strengthening our soul. This is a version written by Twila Paris:
[The joy of the Lord will be my strength
I WILL NOT FALTER, I WILL NOT FAINT
He is my Shepherd, I am not afraid
The joy of the Lord is my strength] “The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, TO PROCLAIM THE YEAR OF THE LORD’S FAVOR and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion– to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of JOY INSTEAD OF MOURNING, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the LORD for the display of his splendor [magnificence].” (Isa. 61:1-3)
Be blessed as you praise The Lord, knowing that THE JOY OF THE LORD IS YOUR STRENGTH TODAY!
