Here’s a question to my fellow Christians that concerns the nature of biblical inerrancy and preservation:
Do you have enough faith to believe that God, by his divine power, could have used men to make available for us today, a complete 100% errorless translation, in English, of the original scriptures that conveys the 100% full meaning of the original languages? Please start your answer with: “Yes”, “No” or “I don’t know”, before supplying your explanation.

It depends upon the version of the Bible that you will use, beacause there are so many unreliable version of the Bible that omitting words and meaning from the original text. -
No because the Hebrew language is pictorial and a word for word match cannot be made for example the word rasheeth which is translated beginning can mean to shake first the head is one way to translate it

Yes. The differences aren’t derived from our sinfulness as much as the dialectic and cultural meanings and nuances we apply to words and phrases. Getting to know the original languages help us see through the smoke of culture and language misgivings.

Where is it stated that translations are without errors?
Even in the original language instruction is given to learn its proper understanding from those who know its intent. -
The Answer is No because matching word by word with Hebrew and Greek with English cannot be possible. It doesn’t mean that the English Bible is not a true Bible but it is advise for those who have much interest to learn even Greek and Hebrew. It is good and with much benefit for pastors to know Hebrew and Greek to be able to help the congregation

I think scholars have said they translated 97% of the Greek and Hebrew correctly at least based on source documents. Scripture has been preserved better than any other document in history. On top of that God is for the preservation of his word so any way something is altered in translation I believe God is sovereign over the use of words being scribed. I’m an advocate for inerrancy of scripture.

Yes. He says of His Word that it completes His will, whenever it is sent out. It does not depend on translation

Yes. Could have and did! When I look at all of creation, (and I only see a very small portion) I realize He could have done it without us, but chose to involve us anyway. What an awesome God we serve!

I don’t think you can give people genuine Free Will and guarantee that they will transcribe everything where you want it to. Unless you a verbally relaying it to them, inspiration is not necessarily equal to inerrancy. But biblical inerrancy is not a major doctrine, inerrency is a very difficult thing to define. Doing mean historical, theological, or scientific, or all of the above?
