Logically impossible to comprehend but it can be ontologically explained to a reasonable degree.. The 3 headed kerberos is another sort of ok analogy for the trinity.

From what I gather, God the Father is outside of His creation. His Person for operating within the physical universe is ‘the Son’, and His Person for operating within the spiritual universe is ‘the Spirit.’ Each are distinct persons, able to commune with one another, yet they are also just One God. God can have fellowship with Himself, which is the craziest, most mysterious, most amazing thing I can think of.

Perhaps we should teach what Yeshua, the Apostles and prophets taught? Then we would know not to go beyond what is written and that there is only one message with the power of God unto salvation… the one Gospel handed down to us.

Genesis 1:26 says “Let us make man in our image, according to our likeness” Who is us and our & who was God speaking too ?
John 1:1 John explains Jesus was God and was there in the beginning
John 2:19 Jesus says he will raise his own body, he did not say his father will raise him or the one who sent him but Jesus himself will
John 17:5 Jesus prays to the father to glorify him with God, with the glory he had with God before the world was formed.
John 20:28 Thomas calls Jesus Lord and God
Isaiah 9:6 Describes Jesus as everlasting father and mighty God
Isaiah 7:14 calls Jesus immanuel which means “God with us”
`Acts 5:35 explains that lying to the Holy spirit is lying to God
Romans 3:30 says there is only one God
Isaiah 44:6 I am the first and the last, There is no other God but me
Revelation 22:13 Jesus says I am the first and the last – There can be only one first and last (they are the same)

What does the Scripture say? There is only One God in all of existence. Yet, the Father is called God. Jesus is called God. And the Holy Spirit is called God. Does this means there are multiple gods? No, the first thing I said was there is only one God, so that would be a contradiction in Scripture. So what does this mean. That there is only One God in all of existence, who exists in three distinct, co-eternal persons, who are all three part of that One “Substance” we call God (divinity).
It is a logical conclusion of reading the Bible, even though the word “triune” is not there. Only those with the Holy Spirit can understand the concept

The word Trinity does is not mentioned in scriptures, the godhead is really talking about the nature of God! Timothy 1:16 calls godliness a mystery and it should not be explained.
What we do know Jesus never called himself God or the Fathe and was not taking, prayers to himself. We should use words the scripture does not use and definitely stop trying to explain it. It is a mystery an unexplainable mystery and should be left alone. John 1:1-14 -

Yes Jesus is God. There are countless verses that confirm it. Titus 2:13 for example. The Trinity is settled Church Doctrine. The Trinity may not be a good place to begin learning about the Gospel for a non-believer, do more digging into their questions to see what their basic bottom line concerns are answer those and work up to The Trinity. For people in Christian denominations The Trinity is fact except for non-trinitarians which are few as far as denominations. Even life long church goers are unaware their denomination believes Jesus is God because it isn’t tought anymore. Blessings and prayers always.

Please note that my explanation is a basic one. It is in no way exhaustive, just the ‘cliff notes’ version.
In Exodus 3:14 God says His name is I AM. In Exodus 20, in several of the Ten Commandments, God refers to Himself as “Lord your God.” God nearly always refers to Himself in the singular (with a couple of notable exceptions for reasons God explains!). So, my understanding is that God is one supernatural being, who has chosen to divide His work among three expressions of Himself. There is some overlap, but by and large, God, the Father, is the Planner of life (Ephesians 1:4), Creator of life (Genesis 1:1) and Judge of those who will spend eternity in Hell (Revelation 20:11-15.
Jesus is the Word of God (John1:1), the visible image of the invisible God (Colossians 1:15) in human form (all four gospels) who came as a living example of God’s thought process, to serve as the sacrifice for our sins, so that we might be saved. He will also judge those who have trusted Him for salvation and distribute rewards for the service they’ve rendered to God and His Kingdom (2 Corinthians 5:10 and Romans 14:10).
The Holy Spirit is God Himself living within us (Acts 2 and Romans 8:26-27) to serve as a source of strength (Ephesians 3:16), as proof of our salvation (Romans 8:14-17, 23 and Ephesians 4:30), as a helper (John 14:15-18), as a teacher (John 14:25-26, 16:7, 12-14, Luke 12:12), as power to resist temptation (Galatians 5:16-17, Romans 8:12-13), to convict us of sin (John 16:8) and to give us hope against the dark days of this life (Romans 15:13).
There is one God who expresses Himself in different ways because, let’s be honest, people are needy, and each of the three expressions of God meets a need of humanity. First, if people were going to exist there had to be a Planner, someone to orchestrate a finely tuned world in which to live. Then, there had to be a Creator, one to create or make the world/universe so man could live. So that sinful man might not perish for all eternity, there had to be a Redeemer, in this case a Son, God’s only begotten, to die a horrible death while carrying the cost of our sins upon His shoulders, who was risen and now sits at God’s right hand advocating for us. Then, to meet the need of strength, protection and instruction, there had to be an expression of God, His Spirit, who could live within us, day by day, providing God’s promises in our lives until it’s time to bid this world goodbye. Finally, to bring Justice to our experience as people, God and Jesus will share in the Judgment of this world. God will judge the works of those who do not belong to Him (Revelation 20:11-15), and Jesus will judge the works of those who accepted Him as Savior (2 Corinthians 5:10 and Romans 14:10). God’s love is so vast that He meets our every need no matter who we are or where we are in our walk with Him. One God, three expressions (the state of being three), the Trinity. ✝️

The important thing is you first understand the subject the best possible way the people here will give you good fundamentals and explanations and that should do you good I hope, when it comes to demonstrating check if the person wants to understand your explanation and is opened to talk about it because if you’re preaching to a convinced person you’re just wasting your time and you will regret wasting your pearls.. so don’t .. that would be my advice..

I explain it using the egg theory, God the Father, God the son, God the Holy Spirit, separate personalities but one God, the egg you have the egg white the egg yolk and the egg shell three separate parts but one egg.

I would compare the Trinity to the way that the Tabernacle was modeled Holy Spirit represented by the outer court to draw us to Christ. Christ represented by the inner court *where the sacrifice is performed and draws us to the Father. And the Father which is represented by the holy of holies that you must be glorified to get to safely.

But Trinity to my best knowledge has to do with three different persons and these persons are in one person and they are
God (father)
Son (Jesus)
Spirit (comforter/guardian)
These three in one beings perform their different functions but in accordance to give God which is the father glory
They are inseparable
They work hand in hand to arrive at same point
Remember Jesus speaking to his disciples saying he’s the way truth and life and no one comes to the father except through him
Agree with me also that it is the spirit of God in us that can help or guide us to knowing Jesus and following his ways so that we can get to the father and also obtain mercy and grace -

there is no simple answer, to takes many scriptures to prove the father is God , the Son is God and the Holy Spirit is God yet there is only one God. there are scriptures that say each of these is God.

There are a lot of verses out there that specifically talk about the Trinity, however, the word “Trinity” is never used in the bible and I find that very interesting. None the less, it is spoken of.

The Son is FULLY GOD. Paul tells us that Jesus “existed in the form of God” (Phil. 2:6), and “in Him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form” (Col. 2:9). John writes, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God” (Jn. 1:1). It is the person of Christ that different cult groups and Unitarians (i.e. one person monotheisms) deny as fully distinct or fully God.
