How useful is science in apologetics?

Don’t need man’s science. Have God’s. Science evident in God’s word, especially in Job

All science does is proves and supports God

Confirmation. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his Eternal Power and Godhead; so they are without excuse Rm 1:20.

Without God we cannot account for the Laws of Logic and therefore we cannot account for science.
So only with a Christian Worldview are you able to account for actual Science. -
In a perfect world science would be very useful in apologetics. Then again, in a perfect world apologetics would not be needed. Science is basically useless in apologetics. People who don’t want to believe in God don’t believe in God. It’s just that simple. Science does nothing to convince them because they twist it to suit their own purposes, just as they do scripture or anything which opposes their preconceptions. In all the time I’ve spent talking with, and reading the efforts of other believers, I’ve never seen one person have their light bulb moment with regards to salvation in Christ. Unfortunately, apologetics does nothing to change the heart.

Much of what we see from science proves the existence of a creator. There are many Christian scientists. It is the scientist who can manipulate findings to disprove the accuracy of God’sinfallible Word., based on their personal biases against Christianity.

I believe that Science – although can’t explain the divinity of God – is important and paramount these days in proving his existence. So it important to me when it comes to defending my faith…but I personally don’t need it because I always knew that he existed. But many other Folks may very well need convincing. And if asked, I’m gonna need a better reason other then God exist because everybody says so, or because the Bible says so. Conclusions like that just are not valid anymore, and truth be told, do to the lazy and carnal minds of people, I don’t know if it ever has been.
So people r going to need a good reason why the should believe and have faith. And that where science comes in handy. And for the record, I always go to the Kalam Argument because its nearly impossible to refute. So if I was sharing my believes with someone, I would start there. I had peolple that tried to refute it, only to go home and dialogue on it to come back and say that I was right. It may have taken a a matter of days tops, but most of the time in almost instant.

It’s very important to me, and why I am a believer. Science, and the scientific method, were developed by theists to better understand God’s creation. If it is done properly, that’s exactly what it does. Through verified, scientific discoveries we cannot help but see the glory of God through his natural revelation. It lends even more weight to Romans 1:20. Those who study scientific disciplines like biology or cosmology, and who are unable to see God in what they practice, are indeed without excuse.
