I have a theory that those believers who are oneness are the ones who are baptised in Jesus name and received the Holy Spirit with the biblical evidence of Speaking in tongues
And those who refuse speaking in tongues as evidence of the indwelling Spirit and have been baptized in the name of the Father and of the son and of the Holy Spirit are trinitarian

Tongues is not “evidence” of Holy Spirit.
The only baptism formula that was given was by Jesus in the name of the Father, son and Holy Spirit. In Acts “in the name of” was expressing the authority to baptize given by Jesus.

I believe the words spoken when I was baptized were along the lines of, “I baptize you in the name of the Father the Son and the Holy Spirit, Jesus Christ.” I am trinitarian I believe that speaking in the tongues of existing earthly languages was a clear evidence of the indwelling Holy Spirit, however the gift of tongues and prophecy ceased, just as Paul predicted they would, almost 2000 years ago long before the Charismatic Movement attempted to revive them in the much more recent past. Nor are they any longer needed since we now have all of God’s word which contains all we need for faith and practice.
Pentecostals, who are Trinitarian, speak in tongues, so do many non-denominationals. Then there are Charismatics who belong to a denomination. All of these are Trinitarian.

I heard a preacher this week at a funeral say that being baptized in the name of the Father , Son and Holy spirit was a lie from the pit of Hell , I guess Jesus was all wrong…
Why do you believe you’ll get to the truth by posting on FB. The scriptures themselves provide answers. Manifestations don’t provide much for evidence since even evil spirits can pretend to be angel of light.

Speaking in tongues is not uncommon for Trinitarians. I speak in tongues, but that is beween me and God. The evidence for others that I am saved is not the tongues but the spiritual fruit, the radically changed heart. With the greatest respect, you are wrong on this.
By putting “with the biblical evidence” you’ve loaded the question, which could be interpreted that your query is dishonest.
A bit like asking “have you stopped beating your wife?”. To say “yes” is to admit you did beat your wife, to say “no” is to admit you still do.
In this case admitting you fall into the secondary category is to admit you’re not biblical. Which would not probably be their opinion.

I would think that if you don’t believe in the trinity you don’t have a saviour, it takes all three persons of the trinity to save a sinner

You’ve left out several groups. Assemblies of God, Church of God, Church of God of Prophecy, several independent Baptist churches all Trinitarian and Holy Ghost filled. I am Trinitarian and believe in the baptism of the Holy Ghost (Spirit) with evidence of speaking in tongues

I am not a great fan of something that cannot be tested unless you know the language truth must go with it or it is suspect.
Speaking of tongues is not only the evidence that a Christian is being filled by the Holy Spirit. But in Galatian 5: 22-23. It’s very vivid that those who have the Fruit of the Holy Spirit are filled also by the Holy Spirit.

The scripture is quite clear that not all believers speak in tongues.
Magnified God in acts 19 and prophesied acts 19 so the tongues idea is not absolute.
Isaiah 28:11-12 (NKJV) 11 For with stammering lips and another tongue He will speak to this people, 12 To whom He said, “This [is] the rest [with which] You may cause the weary to rest,” And, “This [is] the refreshing”; Yet they would not hear.
Paul himself tells us that this is the text that deals with the gift of tongues.
The Jews knew this prophecy and they knew what the sign meant. A drunken stupor was ruled out because it was still morning.
The sign to the Jews was that the Lord was turning to the Gentiles.
You don’t need a sign today to know that God has turned from the Jew. If God wanted, nothing would sit on the Temple Mount. The very fact God allows it means that he wants the sacrifice system to stop.
I think we are told to try the spirits whether they be of God. But with tongues, we have no way to gauge that. We might FEEL some specific way but the heart is deceitful and desperately wicked, so you can’t fill trust feelings.
