I know that logical arguments can be given for Christianity…

I know that logical arguments can be given for Christianity but what I would like to do is simply establish some facts.

IF NATURALISM IS TRUE, THEN ULTIMATELY:
-murder is not wrong
-logic cannot be proven
-rape is not evil
-the Holocaust was not evil
-love is not good or bad
-justice is inexistant
-kindness is pointless
-survival is hopeless
-care should not matter
-tears are in vain
-helping others is pointless
-infanticide is not wrong
-efficiancy is all for naught
-knowledge is useless
-we’re just atoms bumping into each other
-Christ’s death has no meaning
-asking ‘why’ is pointless
-doing anything is for naught
-morals are not real
-death is the end
-there is no good
-there is no bad
-there is no hope
-there is no meaning

IF JESUS CHRIST IS GOD, THEN ULTIMATELY:
-there will be justice
-good exists
-bad exists
-love is good
-tears are not in vain
-we should strive for moral uprightness
-logic exists
-peace has reason
-care matters
-selfish living is wrong for humans
-asking ‘why’ has meaning
-efficiancy has importance
-we should submit ourselves to Christ
-helping others is good
-evil exists
-reason has meaning
-survival has a point
-Satan has been lying through Naturalism
-knowledge is useful
-Christ death has meaning
-morals exist and have purpose
-death is not the end
-there is hope
-there is meaning

    Or maybe your characterization of what is natural is incorrect. I have no trouble believing that preservation of the species could lead to kindness in many forms to your compatriots.

    Like John said. As a community there are many things which are either beneficial are harmful to the group. Such as killing a member of your community.this is harmful for the survival of the group and therefore avoided. A lot of the first points are answered by this. Other animals also follow this kind of code.

    By naturalism if you mean Darwinian type evolution then I agree. Under that system of belief whether earth is a a paradise or nuclear wasteland is completely irrelevant.

    It seems like some people are so hell bent on not believing that I don’t feel the need to defend the bible/truth to them. It’s the truth whether you want it to be or not! If you don’t want to believe, then don’t.

    Other than some religious idealism that is only theoretical, can you please locate where your absolute morals can be found today in the here and now on this planet?

    Most sane people believe in some form of communal moralistic viewpoint for humanity. Christians definitely believe in communal moralism. We are commanded love God and love others. Atheist are inclined to believe communal moralism because it leads to success of the species. Economically, sociologically, and psychologically cultivation leads to successful thriving communities. Christians call this cultivation, something God commanded the first people to do in Genesis. Where atheist will deny is what derived the civics of the populace over time? An evolution in political awareness perhaps they will say? A philosophical inquisition? A working of mysticism? Better why do I have to conform? Strange that much of Judaic Christian civic has entered our societies as the current practices. I don’t believe atheist are unmoral but those that are are moral out of preservation not out of intent. At least at a pathological stance this must be true. Christians cultivate because we are called to love with a love that we first experienced and understood. We are pathologically rewired to love our neighbor because that is what our God has told us to. We have rewired our pathology to be selfless. No longer is it what I can get out of it but what can we get out of it and even what you can get out of it by me.

    It’s pretty hard to argue against survival of the fittest in the sphere of human society if you believe in naturalism.

    By a community of survival of the fittest, if this is so ‘ when did evolution stop? Evil is not real if we are dancing along to our evolved DNA. Its your idea of what is right, but not for the next fellow’ he’s following he’s natural course.

    In the scope of the universe. Murder is not wrong. To those on earth still alive it is though. Just because there is no true good or bad in the universe and no real meaning to life. Doesn’t mean we can’t make morals to follow to make our short lives more fun

    The problem with naturalism is it is fraught with our human nature. Jesus has offered us a higher nature and higher values. It is good to set aside our human nature and naturalism and reach for the higher values that Jesus provides us.. Otherwise our naturalism to frequently leads us to gratifying our animalistic natural instincts
