If a lost person asked you “what must I do to be saved?” what would you tell them?
If a lost person asked you “what must I do to be saved?” what would you tell them?
Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved.
Honestly, if a person asked me that, I’d tell them to be obedient to the Catholic Church which God has established His infusion of grace through the Church’s 7 sacraments. I’d then tell him this is what the Bible teaches and the Early Church has always believed and that history also supports this statement.
1 Corinthians 15:1-4
1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2 by which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
Repent that they are a sinner and have sinned against God and believe in Him and who He said He is.
Repent and believe the gospel. Then explain those two things.
Believe in the Gospel. There are no other condition attached to it.
When you take a cup of chili and add a bunch of water to it, you have watered it down.
Watering something down is not removing or leaving something out, but it is adding something that does not belong.
This simple and direct question was asked to Paul and Silas in the book of acts, and their answer was equally simple and direct. Adding to it is watering down the way to get saved, and therefore unbiblical and a lie that will cause people not to get saved and go to hell.
Acts 16:30 And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?
31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
Repent and believe in Jesus
Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ (explaining who that is), repent of sins, confess him before men, never stop believing.
Show them the Romans Road and then a sinners prayer.
Tell them they have to really mean saying that prayer.
Once they get saved they get the Holy Spirit and are saved forever
The Bible teaches to believe by faith on Christ calling on Him and you will be saved
Believe and be baptized. Honestly it’s as simple as that if someone is already asking what is needed for salvation.
Believe
Be baptized ( I don’t particularly think this would exclude you from salvation but we know it is how we received the Holy Spirit and we see its urgent through the story of the Ethiopian)
The harder part is the shepherding afterwards. It’s not about conversion it’s about discipleship. Go and make disciples of all men.
“Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved.” Acts 16:31
Same thing Paul told the guard
The bible says believe on tha Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved…
Romans 10:9-10 would be my starting point.
SIMPLE MY FRIEND
Romans 10:9-10 King James Version (KJV)
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead.
“that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.”
Romans 10:9-10
Let’s study the Bible!
Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved. Acts13v38-9 and 16v31
Repent from His sins..and to start reading The Scripture.
Believe that Jesus died and rose for your sins and mistakes.
Preach the gospel and call them to repentance.
If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, thou shall be saved
salvation universal, meaning that not everyone will be saved. This does not mean that God does not love everyone. Indeed, He “wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth” (1 Timothy 2:4 NIV). But only Christ is “the way and the truth and the life” (John 14:6 NIV).
John 3:16
Confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead.
^_^ Pray earnestly for God to guide him/her to God’s Messengers to teach the Pristine Gospel. Ü (y)
◄ Romans 10:15 ►
New International Version
And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”
Beleive in Jesus and repent of your sins.
Romans 10:9-10
9 because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.
“God arranges all things by his sovereign counsel, in such a way that individuals are born, who are doomed from the womb to certain death and are to glorify him by their destruction”
Or at least that’s what John Calvin would say.
Weird
SURRENDER
Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and get on your knees and ask him to forgive you of all your sins and make you a new creation
Believe in Christ being sanctified, purified and Justified. by the Spirit of God through Christ.
Acts 2:38
Repent and ask Jesus into your heart.
Depends on their prior knowledge. Are they completely unaware, or are they at least slightly aware of the Christian faith? Time is of the essence. You only need to fill in what they don’t know.
It’s a long walk. But believe that Jesus is the Son of God. The savior and the Great redeemer. Saved by Grace of God. And then follow the Ten Comandments. I find Repentance tuff.
Act 2:38. Aman!!!
Your a dead man walking,a firewood to be used for hells fires until you Repent and confess Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior
REPENT and believe the gospel…then I will explain what the gospel salvation means
Acts 2:37-39 (KJV) Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?
Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.
Romans 10:9-11
[9]That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
[10]For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
[11]For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
Nothing….
I’ll ask him, saved from what? Then I’ll ask him If that is a sincere question? Then I’ll give him the real answer…
Keep the sabbath according to some people on here
Believe on the LORD JESUS CHRIST and you will be saved.
