If the Bible says by confession we can b saved, hw do the dumb recieve Christ when they cant talk.

Read the bible very well with your heart u believe then ur mouth confes. Unless u believe u cant confest but through faith in christ Jesus u are save

you may not be able to hear them talk but GOD knows their hearts AND can hear their thoughts. Ultimately, they only have to confess to Him

Well if there heart is sincerely to recieved Christ as their Lord and Saviour it be possible to them to be saved, remember God have so many ways to do……

In the NT the normative means of becoming a Christian was repentance and Baptism. Confession/profession of faith was usually a part of the process, but you could easily enough confirm their understanding another way before you baptise them.

1) The mute can communicate through Sign Language. ASL or other forms.
2) Silent Conversion is a thing. There are many things in this World you dont say but you believe deep down. Example: You find someone irritating or what they do annoying, but you dont tell him that. But of course the emotions of irritation and annoyance still exist! Same thing applies to belief systems. -
Two quick things on this, Romans 10:9 says that if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead then you will be saved.
So in simple terms it’s just a speech thing, you have to confess and believe. In a less simple way, people who can’t talk can still communicate via tools such as sign language. So they will be able to confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, it just be through speech as would be the case for those who are capable of speaking audibly.

Nobody in this age is saved by confessing with their mouth. Those exact words are a reiteration of something from the OT Jewish prophesies. Israel was supposed to get their kingdom that way. Instead they killed their Messiah and refused to believe. We don’t get saved by Israel’s law and prophecies. Jesus sent Paul as our apostle and Paul tells us how to be saved in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4.
…That if you believe Christ died for your sins, was buried, rose again fulfilling the scriptures, you will be saved…

How about ASL. They speak very eloquently, just not with their mouths

Fortunately the deaf speak quite well, they use their hands though, not their tongues, and I’m quite sure Christ understands sign language quite well. It’s this kind of ignorance that is one of the reasons the deaf are the #1 most UNREACHED people group in the world. They’re invisible to most, and a curiosity to some, but the deaf Christians I know are some of the kindest and most devout people I know.

I wonder about people that have severe mental retardation. And if they are exempted and get a free ticket to heaven.. Will they be mentally retarded there too? If not then they will not be who they were. Same as if someone is saved, suffers head trauma and is brain damaged for decades before dying. Will they be the pre or post trauma person.

I don’t know if this OP is antagonistic or being honest and I’m going to give benefit of the doubt with someone just being honest. There are no limitations on how to communicate with God. Only man has put limits on how we communicate with God, BUT those limitations (i.e. oral prayer) are compelling given the scriptures provided to back them up. It’s the heart that talks in the end. The mouth is a tool to communicate out loud what the heart is thinking and the treasures of the heart. Just something to consider. Help it helps.

1. Nobody can accept Gods call to salvation until God calls them
2. Gods not going to effectually call someone unless they are going to choose to accept the call. God isn’t going to waste his time calling those who won’t accept.
3. People are deaf until they hear the call, but then they are enabled to choose God back. They still choose salvation in their heart, but it happens on Gods timetable. -
Confession is about a change of heart and a repentant soul. Words are just too easy!
