If the world only knew how significant this day was..
They can. The Sabbath is part of the Gospel. A commandment and not a suggestion. Jesus is Lord of the Sabbath. A closer walk with Jesus, time with family and the Seal of God the only commandment that points to Jesus God the Son as the creator. Why.. do you think Satan has fought so hard to distract the world from it. Sunday is not Sabbath.. Tell the world!

Jesus Christ IS our Sabbath rest! As He and we are One in being through His Holy Spirit, whenever we pray or give thanks or break out in song or…or…or…
We are doing CONSTANTLY, what they in the OT did, only one day a week!Rejoice all the time. Pray without ceasing. Praise and worship His Name by doing it in your head…

For those that keep the Sabbath from Sundown Friday to Sundown Saturday, you can not travel over about 1/2 mile. Don’t turn on/off Lights. No cooking, remember that the Lord had order the Hebrew to gather up manna for two days on sixth day of the week which would be our Friday.
Many of the 7th Day and Hebrew Roots etc. that tell us to keep the Sabbath don’t keep it according to the Law. 7th Day if you have to drive more then the 1/2 mile all together going to and home from church you have broken the 7th Day Law.

The Sabbath is God’s Sabbath, God’s Holy Day, the day He Blessed, Sanctified and made Holy. The Sabbath Day that Jesus and His disciples and followers kept in the New Testament times. The Jews bogged down the True Sabbath with petty restrictions…..Jesus the One Who Made the Sabbath,actually got in trouble because He healed a man on the Sabbath Mk 3:1-4 and His disciples ate grain from a cornfield on the Sabbath Mk 2:23.
Jesus is Lord of His Sabbath Day not the Jews, not man.
No where in the Bible does it tell us that Jesus changed His Holy Day to another day…nowhere in the Bible does it tell us that He did away with His Holy Sabbath Day, No where in the Bible does it tell us that He did away with the 4th Commandment that pertains to His Holy Sabbath ,
If Jesus didn’t do away with, or eliminate any of the rest of the 9 commandments , why should we think that He eliminated the 4th commandment which emphatically says “REMEMBER” the(His)Sabbath Day and keep it Holy? -

How is it any Christians still can’t understand Colossians 2? Let no one judge you for keeping the Sabbath or Feasts of GOD which are the shadow pictures of what JESUS has done for us. The New Moon being the sign from GOD which tells us when the new month starts.
The exact opposite of what they say Colossians 2 is about. Wake up! Wise up! -

No. The disciples all kept the commandments of GOD and had the faith of JESUS. I will follow JESUS in the way he really was. I came out of the false Church.

We live under the new covenant. Also we as His church are His bride. We worship everyday.

When we are saved we entered His rest. If we keep trying to be saved by what we do and not by what He did, we insult Christ by saying our works are better than His or His work was not enough and we have to add our works to His, thereby mixing our filthy rags with His precious blood. enter His rest and just worship Him everyday for purchasing you with His blood. Every day with Christ is a Sabbath and we can rest in Him, and His FINISHED work! It is finished, Now enter eternal life!

We are not under the old jewish traditions no more, those old laws are even a curse (sin) if we follow them. The NT is clear. Secondly the REAL Sabbath was depending on the moon, and third but not least, after Jesus crusifiction, the disciples started reuniting on sundays to worship, even if the “church” is the body of Christ and not the stones. And that Jesus is with us everyday. We are under the new covenant. Be blessed

It was on the High Sabbath. Not on the weekly sabbath. (John 19:31, Rev 6:17, 1:10, 2Peter 3:10).

Keeping the Sabbath is one of the 10 Commandments! The Pope will order Sunday rest who wants to be God!

Granted that Sunday isn’t the Sabbath but there are plain verses that teach that it’s not binding on us BECAUSE it is a picture of our eternal rest. See Hebrews 4 specifically.
Gal 3:24 & 25 “…THE LAW was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. But after that faith is come, we are NO LONGER under a schoolmaster.

Let us just agree that Sunday is God’s day, the Sabbath like it has been for thousands of years. Why now are people fighting about it? God has said to keep it Holy. That is all we need to do. So please, let us all do that.

Sabbath is rest.. Rest with God.. And Jesus became our Sabbath.. The New Sabbath.. We fail to rest on the last day of the last day of the creative weak.. And When Jesus has risen from the dead… A new day, The final day, a new day.. The Final and everlasting Sabbath.. The 8th day.. Coincidentally the number 8 sideway is the symbol of infinity?
In Jewish tradition it is called shemini atzeret
It is on this day they circumcise the new born child.. A covenant between God and Man
It is a shadow of a better things to come..
Jesus became our new circumcisdion but of a higher one, not physical but of Spiritual. not of earthly temple but of a Heavenly one..
Not of the Old covenant but of a New One.. -

The Lords Day is not the Sabbath. The Sabbath is Saturday, check out Genesis Chapter 2:1-3. That my dear, is not for the Hebrews it is for everyone who came after our Creator God Blessed it. To make sure that the Jews (his chosen people) kept it he put it into the 10 commandment which he wrote with his own finger (in stone). I will keep them until he returns because my Lord and Savior does not change his mind.

So, the Father lied according to some of the comments. The Sabbath was made for man from ‘in the beginning’. It was never changed, otherwise would need to change the weekly cycle, too. The women ‘rose’ on the 1st day of the week, but the Messiah rose late Sabbath evening. 3 night and 3 days went by while He was in the tomb. The Sabbath will be in the New Earth. Isaiah 66:23-25 All the ones who falls for Satan’s deceptions through his church of Rome’s Roots Movement of Sunday False Sabbath created in 321 AD by Constantine, will not be in the New Earth.

this post is a lack and misconception of the law and it fulfilment! looking at the jesus’ words in the gospels, it shows clear to us that we are not in the law! pls let’s follow the steps of the master.

If we truly believe on Christ as savior and embrace him as lord are we not resting from our own works keeping the sabbath

Not being under the law means that we don’t get the punishment that we deserve for our sin BECAUSE OF WHAT JESUS HAS DONE FOR US> This is not a license to SIN.. REPENT.. And keep the whole law.. Not out of obligation, but out of Love for our savior. Jesus is the Lord of the Sabbath.. And seeks your time in worship every day, but the 7th day is not just any day it is a HOLY SPECIAL AND SANCTIFIED TIME..

John was taken to the day that the Lord returns & shown the events which precede it. The Lord’s Day is the return of Jesus.
