If where the Spirit of the lord is there is liberty, why then do we still to be liberated from powers and principalities, sin or anything at all?

The holy spirit is what liberates us from all of these. Man is not liberated without it, and any Christian can succomb to the temptations of sin.

Brother, you are speaking of the difference between Justification and Sanctification. We are declared righteous and made free in Christ the moment we believe and are indwelled by the Holy Spirit. We then begin walking with Christ as He identifies every single thing the world has used to bind us and then we lay them at the foot of the cross, one by one. We do this with the guidance of the Holy Spirit and with faith in God’s promise to transform us into the image and likeness of Christ! Carry one in love and trust! <3
