In my early years in the CoG I heard the phrase “Free Holiness” -it referred to some folk whose outward adornment and activity was ultra conservative without true internal holiness.
Today free holiness is folk whose outward adornment and activity is worldly and they claim to have inward holiness.
I can provide pictures but I think you already know what I mean.
Free Holiness was a denomination or church. Independent holiness church. My early yrs were spent there. My mom & dad help build the church in Okla.
