In the midst of this epidemic, many believers are struggling with fear and anxiety. They don’t want to be afraid, but they are.
Jesus said:
Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.” Matthew 26:41 NKJVPaul the Apostle said:
For the good that I will to do, I do not do; but the evil I will not to do, that I practice.
Romans 7:19 NKJVThe bible also declares:
…for whatever is not from faith is sin.
Romans 14:23 NKJV
In other words, believe God, don’t disbelieve:
For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. II Timothy 1:7 NKJV
Jesus provides His peace:
Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
John 14:27 NKJVWe make the choice, we either believe what God says or we allow fear and anxiety control our lives. Noone wants to get sick or die, but, I for one won’t allow the devil to steal the joy that God has placed in my heart.
Declare this every day. I will not be afraid, but I will trust in God for my protection. I am a child of the King. I am seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. I am an heir and a joint heir with Christ. My God shall provide all my needs according to His riches in Christ Jesus. I am blessed in the beloved and God says the number of my days He will fulfill.
