I remember a quote from some years ago;
“The study of the human eye is a cure for atheism.” -
Atheism is the cure to religion

Watch the testimony and movie life story of Lee Strobel on Netflix. It’s called the case for Christ. Lee used to be an atheist but through all his research found God. Very powerful movie and testimony.

I think Atheism is a learned belief that was taught by a small social circle. I think it’s almost an elitist or intellectual standard of thinking. As if Jesus isn’t cool to believe in for certain social groups.
I’m aware that there are psychological studies that show children are actually more influenced by peers than by their parents, especially these days (ages…not concise-19 days) when parents are either not home with their children mostly in split family situations, etc., they’re seems to be even more reason why the parent’s values or beliefs tend to not be ones to be more influential. I’m at least speaking for what I noticed happened to my brother.
I also think that people do not want to change their entire way of life and values if they ever come to any understanding that this life is not really ABOUT their pleasure and maybe they can’t accept that so they feel as if they “pretend” there is no God and put their faith in that, then for them, that will be true in the end. Then, that’ll be it…they’re hoping. Which is truly sad.
Another theory I have it that they are just unable to accept something so simple. Just like the majority of Christians. Not saying I’m not guilty. I am at times tipping down over on the legalism scale and need a lift over to grace. Meh.

It’s usually something grounded in the will/emotion. The atheist doesn’t believe in God because he doesn’t want to believe in God. As Thomas Nagel once famously said, he “doesn’t want the world to be like that”.
Jesus explained it even better in John 3 when he said this:
JOHN 3
———-
19 And this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil. 20 For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his works should be exposed. There is a really good book about the subject called “The Making of an Atheist” by Peter Spiegel.
In short, given that this issue is not one of intellectual inquiry, but instead is one of desire and emotion, it’s going to be up to the atheist to decide whether they care more about what’s true or what they want to be true.

One cure for everyone, atheists and the “religious” alike: the Holy Spirit must breath spiritual life into a
dead heart whereby revealing ones need for Jesus as the One who bridged the cap between the Holy God and the sinful offender. -
There are no athiest in hell. But by then there is also no redemption

Uh, salvation in Jesus?
Also, pulling their heads out of their butts helps

The truth. However many atheists don’t want to hear it. Some have salt the truth and come to Christ. Some have said they would not want him even if it was true. Many people do not believe because they just don’t want to. They do know want God Messing in their lives

Cure for atheism is accepting the Creator God or else hell fire .

Evil knows only hate for one another but they are still unified.
