The very idea of Christians being “witnesses” shreds the notion of “secret believers”.

Remember what God said about the servant that went and hid his one talent.

Hebrews says we should be kind to everyone because some people have entertained angels this way without even knowing.
Christians like myself can fall into the trap of not wanting to stand up or out for anything biblical, so we become ninja Christians or undercover Christians “having a form of godliness but denying the power thereof”
Revelations and the church that was Luke warm.
Jesus will spew it out of His mouth.
He desires for us to be ON FIRE for Him. Something I myself need work on through the Holy Spirit.

During the time of our Lord, Law and were not filled by the Holy Spirit had people of high standing like Nicodemus and Joseph of Arimathea. When people are filled with the Holy Spirit must be open and heard of all.
Matthew 10:33
[33]But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.Romans 10:9-10
[9]That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

I Believe Nicodemus was a “secret Believer”
