Is this a Church of God woman or Southern Baptist? Should you be able to tell the difference?

Our point is that Sister Hill does not look to be a CoG woman, at least in the CoG that we knew. She knows what the CoG stood for and she is in total opposite of it. Our daughter-in-law knew nothing of the CoG or holiness or anything. Then you both attempt to compare these two women with each other? Get real.

My criticism is not toward Sister Hill it is to the Church. I am criticizing the church and in a sense Sister Hill is a victim of Church contradictions.
I think she wanted to look like the world and she believed she had the approval of everyone. However she didn’t and all the ones who disapproved kept silent because they would be ridiculed. Truth!!!

It was pentecostal and holiness.

The CoG was striving to live according to the Bible but liberals changed it in 1986 and then it ceased to be a holiness church.

Thank God there are still many pastors, local churches and members in the CoG who are truly CoG.

I will be 64 years old on 19th. So I will reckon there will be some that will call me old fashion.
I have attended the Church of God and the Assembly of God churches all my life.
My first infilling of Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in other tongues was when I was 9 years old. I have been refilled many times. I have also interpreted the messages.
I come from a long line of Pentecostal Preachers. My Grandfather and with his brother, was an ordained Assembly of God preacher. They started preaching in 1919. My grandfather passed away in 1987 at the age of 98, so that meant he started preaching when he 30 years old at the end WWI which he served in. My Father and Mother were both preachers. I had an Uncle who was a Pentecostal preacher and I have a Son who is Pentecostal preacher.
I am an independent Pentecostal preacher.
Why am I independent? It is because of the worldliness promoted and in most of the COG and AG denominations.
When did God quit convicting people of what people were convicted of years and not call it sin today?
I am not judging anybody? Why did God require more of the pioneers of the Pentecostal movements, but does not require it today?
Some say it is because they have PROGRESSED. God is not seeking PROGRESSION but TRANSFORMATION.
PROGRESSION is CONFORMISM.
Is this scripture still true?

WHAT DID USE TO BE SIN
1. Men & Women wearing makeup.
2. Men Having long hair.
3. Women having short hair.
4. Men & Women wearing jewelry.
5. Men & Women wearing tight cloth to highlighting their physiques.
6. Men wearing women’s clothing.
7. Women wearing men’s clothing, such as pants, jeans and pants suits.
8. Men & Women who were not married swimming together.
9. Men & Women dying their hair.
10. Going to the movies.
11. Drinking Alcoholic Beverages.
12. Going to worldly entertainment such as football, baseball, basketball games. Also going to worldly music shows.
13. Men & Women Dancing.
14. Listening to rock ‘n’ roll music that the artists themselves said it was the devil’s music.
Shall I go on. I could.
There was time you could tell a Christian person by the way they conducted themselves in actions and dress.
WHAT CHANGE? WHAT HAPPENED?
Why is it that old time preachers, most had no college education, and maybe didn’t finish high school and some couldn’t read, but they could preach under the anointing and people believed them. They had no computers just a KJV BIBLE and KNEEOLOGY.
If God gave it to them that way back then, explain to me why Bible College trained preachers don’t have that way now?
The Bible says:’LOVE THY NEIGHBOR AS THYSELF.”
Do you LOVE YOURSELF when you are painting yourself up and coloring your hair?
Are you not covering up the way that God intended for you to look. Isn’t that hypocritical by putting on a mask, which is what you are doing by painting up and coloring your hair?
Can you prove me wrong?
Is the power of God as prevalent in the churches now days as is was in times past.
When was the last time that you saw a miracle or a person healed in a church service. Most of the time we call a person, who has cancer and has an operation to remove the cancer and part of the body A MIRACLE. That is not a MIRACLE. That is not the GIFT OF HEALING. God’s Gifts do not have to learned in a college by man.
This is what we use to see people healed with taking medicine or going to a doctor.

Is there a differing standard for a Biblical SB woman verses a CoG woman?
And she does not look like a CoG woman according to who’s standard?

At one time you could tell. And not just if she was ugly or not. All to be done in with modesty. Church of God women had an aura of holiness that came from the inside. I am all for cutting your hair if you like it short or makeup if you like. But ladies, lets not let that be all that the world sees of us or what draws others to want to have what we have. Let them see Christ in all we do, including our appearance.

You need to get real and support our gracious Ladies in the Church of God. My father and mother were ministers in the Great Church of God. YOU ARE A DISGRACE TO THE CHURCH OF GOD !!!! -

While I believe in outward holiness and I do agree with Bro. Melvin and Bro. Charles on a majority of things concerning outward holiness, I do not agree with posting pictures of another man’s wife. Just my miniscule opinion.

She looks great and smiles like a Child of God. Ur salvation is in ur heart and not clothes or make up. Better than a sour look all the time that judges everyone. God is going to judge all. Not us.

I look for the Christ within them both. The lady at the top of the page and the lady in this posting. I see the Lord in each of them. I Samuel 15:7 But the Lord said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart.
