To be Sola Scriptura, you can’t be a five point Calvinist. Limited Atonement and Irresistible Grace aren’t Biblical.

  7. Jacob O'Neill says:

It’s not a Calvinist group. But the five sola are throughly biblical.

Don’t even know what half the doctrines are to be honest. I believe in the life, teachings, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. I believe that He is the way, the truth and the life. Doctrinal disputes sadden me and I just keep coming back to Jesus telling the Pharisees that they’re missing the heart of the matter. Just a Christ follower here.

I follow the reformer John Piper. He’s my go to guy on Christian living. However, I like the catholic doctrine of salvation which includes works. We are saved for works. Faith w out works is dead. Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. God is not mocked he who sows to his flesh will reap corruption, but he who sows to his spirit will reap life everlasting. Circumcision accomplishishes nothing; but faith which works by love.
