  1. Gene Williams Jr. says:

No. My commission is to proselytize. In order to coexist I have to stay silent. Usually people don’t want to hear their worldview was wrong. And sometimes, like with Islam, it’s met with force

  2. Mark Celio says:

Jesus said I AM THE WAY THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE, NO ONE COMES TO THE FATHER BUT BY ME. so according to Christ there should only be a cross.

  3. Kesha Eason says:

No. There is only one way to God, Jesus Christ.

  4. Johnathon Morris says:

We already coexist, but we do not coaccept. Not everything is true, but God’s Word is all true.

  5. Dan Richards says:
  6. Florence Gingerich Sommers says:

No, Christianity is exclusive. There is no other way to salvation. Yes, we are to live in peace with men but the COEXIST theology is meant to imply that all are the same.

  7. Mark Richmond says:

Coexist IF people just took it at face value is fine- basically tolerance in other words acceptance that people have a right to hold a given view . The PROBLEM is usually it means to APPROVE and being called a bigot if you don’t.

  8. Rodney Durrett says:

    One world religion.

  9. Stan Wosnicki says:

It is an inherently illogical concept to say all religions are the same. While most perspectives can tolerate each other there are those who donot excercise true tolerance of those who differ.

  10. Todd Carpentier says:

It’s biblical to treat people of different faiths with respect and decency. It is not biblical to say “you can believe what you want, and that’s your truth. I will believe what I believe and that’s my truth. We can all go to our respective eternities and live happily ever after”. These various religions contradict one another. They cannot all be true.

  11. Ronald McWood says:

Coexist is only a western hippie idea that doesn’t work. Look at current news where Buddhist at war with the Muslims. Muslims at war against Muslims. Hindus at war against Muslims. Tribal wars all over Africa. Catholics at war with Protestants. I bet coexist proponents can’t stand Christians.

What do you mean by coexist? Because as far as loving people of other faiths:

Romans 12:18 (ESV): If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all.

Matthew 5:44–45 (ESV): But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45 so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven.

Romans 12:20–21 (ESV): To the contrary, “if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink; for by so doing you will heap burning coals on his head.” 21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

    But as far as compromising:

Exodus 34:14 (ESV): for you shall worship no other god, for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God

Matthew 22:37 (ESV): And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.

Luke 4:8 (ESV): Jesus answered him, “It is written,
“ ‘You shall worship the Lord your God,
and him only shall you serve.’ ”

This is actually mainly targeted at us Christians. They want us to accept that other religions are the same ours and they’re not. They all contradict

  18. Tom Salamone says:

Coexist is a progressive idea that seeks to promote religious pluralism as the truth under the guise of unity and peace.

However, it cannot be true since Christ declared to be the only way, the only truth, and the only life. If what Jesus said and taught is true, then other religions opposed to his teachings cannot also be true by definition.

  19. Daniel Spencer says:

Point to Jesus Christ and him only. Period.

  20. Michael L Roberts says:

I believe that this sums it all up!

  21. Brontë Hauptmann says:
  22. Piyush Lazarus says:

Coexist people are not from God. This is new age deception. Bible says –
They are of the world. Therefore they speak as of the world, and the world hears them. We are of God. He who knows God hears us; he who is not of God does not hear us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.
    I John 4:5‭-‬6

  23. Kevin Taylor says:

You cannot coexist with people who want to make you not exist.

  24. Dale Peeples says:

How can two walk together accept they agree

  25. Celeste Marie says:

We already coexist with many other faiths and belief systems, so calling us to COEXIST is redundant and unnecessary.

If by Coexist you mean to accept that “all paths lead to God” or that “all religions are true” well, that, by anyone’s logic simply cannot be true.

Christians have always coexisted with all other religions and we have always been under the same mandate. Speak the Truth in Love and leave the change of a Man’s heart to Almighty God.

  26. Stephen Pierce says:

The message of COEXIST implies that no matter what worldview one holds, there is a “Law above the law” that supersedes an individual’s subjective beliefs — an objective truth that it is really wrong not to get along! This statement can only make sense if humanity was created on purpose and for the purpose of “getting along.” This would be something true of humanity irrespective of the opinions from humanity. Some views deny that it is objectively true that humans ought to “get along” and love each other. Atheism, for example, contends that since God does not exist, humans were not created on purpose or for a purpose — we are nothing but a happy accident — nothing more than dust in the wind. If atheism is true, there is nothing really wrong with not co-existing and getting along. Another worldview to consider is Islam. Although Muslims believe that Allah created humans for a purpose, not all Muslims believe this purpose is to “get along.” In fact, according to the final commands of Muhammad, Muslims ought to kill all infidels and non-Muslims (Quran 2:191; 9:5; 9:73; 9:123, etc.)! Accordingly, many who affirm the “crescent moon” on the COEXIST bumper sticker also believe they ought to kill everyone else who affirms one of the other symbols of the same bumper sticker. The message of Jesus Christ is radically different from the final teachings of Muhammad! In fact, the idea of COEXIST is a biblical command! Jesus summarized the entire purpose of human existence in two simple and easy to remember commands in Matthew 5:44; 22:37-39: The apostle Paul echoes the commands of Jesus in Romans 12:18: If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. And the author of Hebrews commands us to COEXIST with everyone in Hebrews 12:14: Strive for peace with everyone, and for the holiness without which no one will see the Lord. Bottom Line: If you think all humans ought to COEXIST, then you should be a Christian! RESOURCE: CROSSEXAMINED.ORG/coexist-biblical-command/

  27. Steve Losee says:

It’s what most of us have been doing for decades, at least. ‘Coexist” was coined by a Soviet Premier to describe East & West leaving each other alone; not being palsy. And the only ones NOT coexisting are teh “C” and the “e”.

  28. Terence Kendrick says:
  29. Ivan Johnson says:
  30. Trey Rodriguez says:

Can’t do it with people who want to kill you.

  31. Bobby Deveaux says:

Lol…the 1st symbol (the C) says kill others who disagree with it.

  32. Don Conklin says:

Investigate the first symbol…it will lead you to your answer.

  33. Rosanna Pike says:

Coexists as in love your enemies, coexist as in not everyone will turn to Christ but WE the church must proclaim Jesus as Lord of all. God will do the rest.

  34. Patti Summerfeldt says:

This is Not biblical. This is a demonic agenda for one world religion

  35. Ken Green says:

If you deny Jesus before men, He will deny you before His Father in Heaven

  36. Sean Sullivan says:

Of course we need to live together and share this world. Anyone who disagrees is a religious fanatic. Fanaticism is dishonoring to the Lord.

  37. David Marmolejo says:

Christians should be like Daniel in Babylon. But should never worship with people who worship idols or other gods.

  38. Norman Flores says:

One word can sum up the reason why religions cannot coexist peacefully: SIN. Because sin affects all men, the tendency to fight can rise up even in religious contexts. While different religions may have similar positive benefits to society, all religions are not equal. Only Christianity addresses the sin problem by changing the heart of man. (Matthew 10:34-39) Also Jesus came to the world not to “unite” instead to “divide” true faith vs false.

  39. Martin Naskovski says:

it depends on whether those you wish to co-exist with want to wipe you out from the face of the earth and will settle for nothing less

  40. Busrifin Zhou says:

No, stay away from this false teachings.
The true living God (יהוה)is the jealous God.

  41. Freddy Jocksand Diaz says:

Not… there is no god but.YHWH and no other name in which we can find salvation but Jesus Christ.

  42. Mark Allan says:

No! Jesus said ,” I am the way the truth and the life, no one comes to the father but through me”

God also says in the scriptures,” I am the Lord your God. You will have no other Gods before me.”

  43. Naathan Lewis says:

There are things God demands we do not tolerate.

  44. Chase Rick says:

I live in a predominantly Buddhist country (85%). I have more freedom to practice my faith and discuss it with Buddhists in Myanmar and Thailand than I do in “secular” Canada ??

  45. Adam John Butterworth says:

Coexist in what sense though? In that we never have a prerogative to evangelise? No

  46. Daron Maxwell says:

No! “No man comes to God except through the son.. (Jesus Yeshua The Christ ).

  47. David Rezutko says:

Coexist is Biblical due to Jesus commanding us to love one another. If you only love people who love you, where is the reward in that?

  48. Andy Barber says:

To paraphrase a Ravi Zacharias quote in discussing Christianity and other world religions, “There are fundamental differences and only superficial similarities.”. The point being that at their core, the messages and doctrines being taught are incompatible with the Christian faith.

That said, treat everyone with respect. Love your neighbor as yourself, and pray for your enemies (or people who disagree and do not know Jesus Christ).
