It appears that another congregation has broke away from the CoG. I first visited this church back in the 80’s when it was called the Cloud Springs Church of God. The state bought the property to build a four lane highway and so they bought a large piece of property about a mile away and build a large new building. For five years or so it was called, Temple of Praise and then about three years ago renamed TrueLife Church all the while being a part of the CoG.
Just weeks ago the TrueLife Church has moved to a rental building about a half mile away and the Rossville Church of God has now put up a sign where the newer building is. The mailing address is still Rossville but the old church has moved some five miles from the old part of town to the east side which has far more housing growth.
While we do not know the reasons for this change it gives the appearance of some stress and strain among the brethren. If you have true information that can fill in the blanks please do so but remember to be charitable and compassionate in your remarks.

I’m sure they do office hours. Go by and check on that for us.

In what city and state is this church located?

I didn’t know all this movement had taken place. My grandfather p astored the Rossville congregation at one time, away back in the 60s.

Why do you think they left not broke away? Because they changed the name?

hopefully we’ll get the truth about this.

Our church property is being bought for a cross town freeway.

Does that include the state office?

Yes, all the west to the gym. It’s a large strip of property. Our pastor said one day, it would probably happen in December.
