It seems there is so much confusion about Yahweh and His Messiah.

Many claim God is a mystery – either the “trinity” is a mystery or the “oneness” is a mystery and we will never “get” it with our human minds.

If this is the case, God should have never ordered for anything to be recorded in words. Words have meanings. God communicated throughout creation Who He is and Who His Messiah, His Son is with clear words.

You can’t just redefine things like “persons,” “being,” “substance,” “God,” “Father,” “only true,” etc. to fit a theological claim.

It is also interesting that those who claim that “God” is a mystery and that “He” cannot be understood by us want to spend words upon words, paragraphs upon paragraphs, explaining their own UNDERSTANDING of what they read and UNDERSTAND from Scripture.

Let Scripture speak for itself.

“YHWH is our God. YHWH is one.” (Deuteronomy 6:4)
Jesus is “the Messiah, the Son of the Living God.” (Matthew 16:16)

“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ…” (Ephesians 1:3)

We should KNOW and UNDERSTAND Who God is. That is His desire for us. Jeremiah 9:24

He is truly human and truly God. Per Scripture.

  2. Andrew White says:

    Excellent wholeheartedly agree

  3. Bob Jones says:

He is God he is human

  4. Matthew Burns says:

In the oldest manuscripts placeholders (called nomina sacra) are used for divine names and titles. In Philippians 2 it says every tongue will confess that “Yahshua is Yahweh,” which over time changed to “Jesus is LORD.”

John says nobody has seen the Father but then who was the person called Yahweh (the LORD) that appeared to Abraham?

  5. Richard Spence says:

Scripture does speak for God. Yet Scripture says that the life of Jesus is a mystery; how that can be.
Those that can hear; let them hear. Let them that see, see. L&P

Your conclusion does not flow from your initial premise.

just because words have meanings and there are some things that we can understand about God, does not at all mean that we can or even that we “should” understand everything that there is about God. He is an uncreated infinite being that in his creativity knows, plans and contains all of the variety that has ever existed in the history of the world and can ever be conceived. How in the world do you think that you were going to fully comprehend him as a being?

  7. Parker Roberts says:

    John 1:1;14,
    Then read Matthew 3:13-17

Trinity confirmed right there. In 2 passages.

Except Unitarianism is a false or incomplete Gospel. Yeah, I picked up that you support that doctrine from your ‘wording’ and decided to go take a look at your FB “Likes”…and low and behold, several Unitarian groups which I expected to see.

Words communicate many things such as intention even though it is withheld and can lead to a better understanding of the person using them and what their goal or agenda is.

In fact, I pick off cultists like JW’s, Mormons, CoC’s, NAR’s, etc, etc all the time by their wording in their OP’s like this one.

If God chose to use Words, He did it for our sake and you do well to consider that He knows better than we do.

Why did Jesus come to earth??

YHWH and me is one said Jesus..

  12. Dav Echad says:

Jesus revealed about God very clearly, that God is one person and He is the Father alone.

Jesus said, ‘Do not hold on to me because I have not gone up to the Father yet. But go to my brothers, the disciples . Tell them, “Now I will go up to my Father. He is also your Father. He is my God, and he is your God.” ’
    John 20:17

  13. Tony Mikhaiel says:

    You are ignoring scriptures.

Jesus is the Word of YHWH who exists in the bosom of the Father!

God cannot exist without His Word.

Therefore this Word is with the Father from eternity to eternity.

    Do not ignore scriptures!

  14. Zac Olds says:

A man would not claim to be honored in the same way we honor God.

    John 5:23

Jesus forgave sins of his own authority, he claimed to be the first and the last.

He did and said so many things only God would do.

23 Jesus looked around and said to his disciples, “How hard it is for the rich to enter the Kingdom of God!” 24 This amazed them. But Jesus said again, “Dear children, it is very hard[b] to enter the Kingdom of God. 25 In fact, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the Kingdom of God!”

26 The disciples were astounded. “Then who in the world can be saved?” they asked.

27 Jesus looked at them intently and said, “Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But not with God. Everything is possible with God.”

28 Then Peter began to speak up. “We’ve given up everything to follow you,” he said.

29 “Yes,” Jesus replied, “and I assure you that everyone who has given up house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or property, for my sake and for the Good News, 30 will receive now in return a hundred times as many houses, brothers, sisters, mothers, children, and property—along with persecution. And in the world to come that person will have eternal life. 31

For HIS sake, he is the way to heaven, a man cannot grant bring us to heaven, only God can.

  15. Ken Cliffe says:

Trinity all in the same place at the same time but seperate persons – Luke 3:22

and the Holy Spirit (God) descended on him (Jesus-God) -in bodily form- like a dove. And a voice (Father-God) came from heaven: “You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased.”

  16. Edgardo Salcon Gavino says:

We should not get tired of explaining to people that we are encountering the truth about who God really is and the difference of the Lord Jesus Christ from the one true God.

    1 John 5:20

  18. Jo Jo says:

    There are so many….

    Hebrews 1 – Psalm 110,
“The Lord said to my Lord…”
(God the Father called the Son, God)

    Colossians 1:15-20 (Jesus is co-creator)

    John 1:1-14 ?‍♀️

    Mark 14:62
“I am. And you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of power and coming with the clouds of heaven.”
-Jesus claimed to be the Son of Man from Daniel, the I AM from Exodus, the one sitting at the right hand from from – Psalms 110:1
(Note Yahweh in the OT is known as the one who rides on the clouds..)

    Matthew 28:19
“Go and make disciples among nations, baptizing them in the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and the Holy Spirit.”
(why would Jesus include himself in that? Placing his name next to the Father. That would be blasphemy)

    Isaiah 48:12-
“Listen to me, Oh Jacob and Israel whom i called!
I am he; i am the first, and i am the last.
My hand laid the foundation of the earth…

    Verse 16:
“Draw near to me, hear this:
from the beginning i have not spoken in secret,
from the time it came to be i have been there.
And now the Lord God (FATHER) has sent me (SON), and his Spirit (HOLY SPIRIT).”
Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, the holy one Israel.”

    John 17:5
“and now, Father, glorify me in your own presence, with the glory that i had with you before the world existed.”……..
-(This must have been so shocking for his disciples to hear that time)

Acts 20:28 (God purchased us with His own blood)
Revelation 1:5-6 ; Revelation 5:8-9 (Jesus blood purchased us)

  19. Rwasande Godfrey says:

Intriguing information. We tend to forget his word and how spoke all through generations and opt for our desolved minds to explain who God is.

  20. Grant Reedy says:

Only one Spirit of truth was promised by Christ, therefore one truth.

You are right there is a major problem with believers failing to come to the knowledge of God, been happening for thousands of years already.

God is not a mystery at all, clearly known and demonstrated.

Just have to hear what the Spirit is saying, remit, submit and commit, to the will and purpose of God by the Spirit of Truth and morality that requires no interpretation whatsoever through Christ Jesus.

Eyes on Christ and one will have no issues.

God is one God with two other expressions of Himself power, manifestation and expression.
    Genesis 1:1-3.

  21. Mark August says:

Do you believe that Messiah is Divine?

  22. Rick Montilla says:

Mark 10:18 And Jesus said to him, “Why do you call me good? No one is good except God alone.

So to all of you guys that say that Jesus is not God despite bible text after bible text that clearly stated this , then please answer was Jesus good ?
