# **It’s Amazing How Many People Push Salvation by Works.**

**Ephesians 2:8-10**

8 For by grace >>>you have been saved<<< through faith, and that >>>not of yourselves;<<< it is >>>the gift of God,<<< 9 >>>not of works,<<< lest anyone should boast. 10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus >>>for good works, which God prepared beforehand<<< that we should walk in them. We are saved >>>”NOT by works!”<<< - The works that we do "AFTER" being saved [our salvation] comes about ONLY because God prepared them >>>beforehand.<<< God, NOT us, gets credit and glory for our salvation and any good works! Boast in Him! The same holds true, regarding this verse: **James 2:20** But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead? Obviously, if one is saved, in time, sometimes right away, there will be evidence of one’s salvation [saving grace - a "gift from God”], but the works did NOT save the person - Jesus did! - By grace [the gift of God] you >>>have been<<< saved [through faith] - >>>NOT of works!<<< ALL glory for BOTH salvation and works is due to God, ALONE! Remember, apart from Him, you can do >>>nothing!<<< **A MAJOR MISTAKE…** We reason Holy Scripture with Holy Scripture - we NEVER attempt to disprove Scripture with Scripture. It does NOT contradict itself. Ephesians 2:8-9 "IS" CORRECT! FULLY 100% BIBLICALLY CORRECT. Vainly attempting to add the necessity of 'works,' as a requirement of salvation, to somehow 'undo' this Scripture is tantamount to seeking other Scripture to somehow 'undo' Genesis 1:1. **Genesis 1:1** In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 100 misused verses do NOT remove God's clear and spoken Word in Genesis 1:1 any more than they do in regards to Ephesians 2:8-9. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, use God's own Holy Scripture AGAINST Him to recklessly support an unbiblical teaching or to attack Scripture with Scripture. When plain Scripture makes sense, we do NOT look for other sense or we end up with nonsense! WE "ARE" SAVED, AS HOLY WRIT RIGHTLY STATES. Do works flow from or as a result OF salvation? Absolutely! Do they save us? ABSOLUTELY NOT! If Eph. 2:8-9 is correct - IT IS - works play NO role in salvation. They are the natural outpouring FROM one’s Salvation, the result - NOT the cause. Christ is the cause, works are the result. Works result FROM salvation – NOT into Salvation! The Holy Text is perfectly clear regarding one's Salvation. We are saved APART from works (Ephesians 2.8-9) to DO Good works (Ephesians 2.10).
