JUST A REMINDER AS WE HAVE HAD COMPLAINTS REGARDING WHY WE ALLOW ATHEISTIC POSTS ECT.

Seems to me that people are requesting to join this group with little OR no understanding of what Christian apologetics is while simultaneously moaning and not engaging with unbelievers.

News flash this is what Christian apologetics is fundamentally about.

Apologetics derives from the Greek word ἀπολογία, (speaking in defense )

This is the religious discipline of defending religious doctrines through systematic argumentation and discourse. Early Christian writers who defended their beliefs against critics and recommended their faith to outsiders were called Christian apologists.

Outsiders and unbelievers of Christianity are absolutely necessary for us to apply Christian apologetics to discussions and hopefully bring that said outsider/ unbeliever to Christ.

We as apologists believe in the great commission but to effectively accomplish this we must be equipped to do it.

2 Timothy 3:16
All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.

1 Peter 3:15
But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect.

Then we can effectively share the Gospel to the lost , agnostics, atheist, JWs, SDA, muslims etc.

If this isn’t the group that you thought it was going to be then you are free to leave.
