I am not big on altar calls. I present the Gospel with all it’s implications for all of time and eternity. I then give my listeners the freedom to come and chat to me at anytime then or in the future. John 3:8…Jesus said..”The wind blows wherever it wills……so it is with everyone born of the Spirit” Regeneration is inevitably a Sovereign Divine Act of God.

According to Ravi’s personal testimony, he was saved while in the hospital recuperating from a suicide attempt. A Christian worker gave him a Bible open to John 14 and that was it.

Ravi gave a similar testimony of having answered an altar call. But he didn’t say he was the only one that came out. Check his sermon the problem of pleasure. If my memory serves me correctly, that testimony was about Billy Graham. All in all, I want to take the message in the above post as an encouragement. You may preach and people may not repent. But one soul who does may be used by God to multiply your obedience
