From a lot of the apologists I’ve heard talk, he’s one of the more reasonable ones out there.
And he admits when he could be wrong!
Well written and thoughtful — much to agree with there. I especially liked the identification of the knee-jerk reactionary types who will never allow any speculative, exploratory or nuanced conversation without the resulting misquoting and labeling.
I dont buy into his old earth view, but he’s top notch.
I have met him in Dublin personally and he is not only one of the best christian apologists but also a very nice and humble person… ?

His arguments for the existence of God and other things are brilliant, he’s weak on predestination tho I think..
He is refreshingly unbiased about things.
CRAIG is a molinist
Incredible apologist and even better theologian. He’s probably been the #1 influence on my personal faith outside of the Bible itself and spiritual leaders I know personally – more than any author, preacher, speaker, whathaveyou. He’s the real deal.
Young earth creationism is embarrassing. Craig is the best apologist that has ever lived.
He’s a molinist.
I’ve yet to see anyone repent from his evidentiary apologetic.
Maybe they have, but I haven’t seen it.

I love this brother .One biggest problem i have with is his view on the the character of God and time ,his view is that sense God came into time the person of Jesus Christ ,that now is subjected (this is God were talking about here) forever to time never able to go back to being out side time .
I think some YEC are embarrassing sometimes, too. How about old Earth creation plus young human creation and read Genesis without a literal definition of Yom (day). I still believe Genisis to be true word of God, I still believe Adam & Eve were the first individual people God created. We Christians need to stop arguing over non-essentials.
And William Lane Craig is a great man, and a wonderful defender of Christian faith.
Understanding Molinism isn’t a task for the faint of heart. It is to me a brilliant line of thinking which makes God’s complete & perfect sovereignty and the necessity of human free will make sense together. Molinist ideas don’t make Craig a heretic, it only proves he is a very deep and thorough thinker. More power to him.

You mean thoughts on his theology? Personally, Craig was thr first apologist I ever heard online. He’s the reason why I started to study all about this stuff. Regarding his theology, I haven’t looked seriously into it.
IMHO he belittles the Creator and his power by denying that the world was created in six days, six thousand years ago. The Bible clearly shows this and states it in the fourth commandment. Craig is bowing to the words of men instead of trusting the Word of God.
Huge fan of WLC. His podcasts are a great resource. Especially dig Molinism. I agree with him on the embarrassment of YEC. So many young people get turned off of Christianity because of it.

I love this man. I thank God for his ministry. Along with Ravi Zacharias and Frank Turek, he is one of the apologists who helped me open the door to return to Christ.

If you want to argue with a carnal mind with carnal minded non believers, Craig has a lot of good arguments.
Though if you want to have Objective Truth and morality of the scriptures, then one needs to look to the promise of Christ, the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of truth as God gives the increase of His Word by His Spirit, never by the carnal man.

Brilliant at defending the existence of God and the faith, but a train wreck theologically in certain areas.
I keep reading criticisms of Craig that are either outright falsehoods or incredibly vague. If you’re going to bash a guy who does so much good for the Kingdom, it’s only fair that you’re specific and cite his words and/or scripture in support of your argument. This is an apologetics page, after all.
Love many things but he believes science (pseudoscience that is) over the Bible. Sad.
