My Hope is in The Lion

Folks, my hope is not in a blue donkey, and neither is my hope in a red elephant. My hope is in The Lion….The Lion of the Tribe of Judah…..King Jesus, the Great High Priest Who sets at the right hand of the Father, and to Whom the Father has said, “ Sit here at my right hand until I make all your enemies your footstool.” Hebrews 1:13

The Apostle John actually heard one of Heaven’s elders declare,
“Weep not: behold, the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, the root of David hath prevailed….” Revelation 5:5

The great Prophet Joel cried and said, as he spoke of the last days in Joel Chapter 3, “ The Lord also shall roar out of Zion, and utter His voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake: but the Lord will be the hope of His people, and the strength of the children of Israel.” Joel 3:16
No folks, my hope is not in anything as carnal, weak, and fleeting as a blue donkey or a red elephant led by weak and greedy men and women….my hope is in The Lion…

The Lion of the Tribe of Judah, the root and offspring of David, the fairest of ten thousand, the lily of the valley and the bright and morning star, the Good Shepherd of my soul….my hope is in Jesus….soon to come again.
