We’re hearing more and more about the dangers of social media. It seems that all of life really is a stage and people are forming opinions about every move we make.

But are other people’s opinions of you that important?

Must you live your life burdened with the extra pressure of pleasing your audience?

Yes, there are some people’s opinions that really do matter and the way we conduct ourselves before the world is important…to a point.

But slavishly keeping up with likes and dislikes and hugs and laughs, and shares and comments, that’s no way to live.

Don’t take the bait. Don’t live your life to please people who are like hummingbirds, flitting from one thing to the next. Their opinions are like the morning dew, they soon evaporate and life moves on.

Be “Ducky” today (let it all run off your back).
