Paul H. Walker at Lee College Heritage Week (1973): “Self-Denial”

With song and personal experiences, Paul H. Walker reminds his hearers that the plan of redemption is built on self-denial. Jesus denied Himself, and so must His followers.

Born and raised on a North Dakota ranch, Walker became Maryland’s first Church of God state overseer in 1920 and married Margaret Holloway two years later. During his ministry, he preached in 64 countries, helped establish Northwest Bible College in the Dakotas and International Bible College in Canada, and established 64 churches in a dozen states in the U.S.A., Canada, and England.

Additional stories from his life and ministry are found in his autobiography, “Paths of a Pioneer: The Life Story of Paul H. Walker” (1971).
