Please help me y understand, How many angels appeared in day of Jesus resurrection?
Gospel of Matthew and Mark mentioned singular number angel (Mt.28:2.. Mk.16: 5). And the gospel of Luke and John mentioned plural number angels (Lk.24:4; Jn. 20:12).
So how many angels did appear to the women?

it seems 2 appeared to them one at the head and the other at the foot of where the body of Jesus lay.

They don’t really contradct, do they. One spoke to them. So who did the frighten women notice. The one who spoke to then. One, the wording doesn ‘t negate three, unless it was said there was only one and it does not say that.
