Ppl are on here talking about evolution. Is the God we worship not powerful enough to make evolution happen within the blink of an eye if he wanted to?

  1. Johnathon Morris says:

God does not contradict Himself God does not commit falsities. It is impossible to for evolution to be in the framework of His creation. It is a violation of the second law of thermodynamics. God said He made everything after each kind, according to their ability to reproduce. See Kent Hovind’s Talk about this.

  2. Larry Koester says:

It’s never what God could have done, but what he says he did do that is relavent.

  3. Jeremy Blatchford says:

To do evolution in the blink of an eye by definition means it isn’t evolution. God does not contradict logic. Evolution cannot work fast without ceasing to be evolution.

  4. Steven Wells says:

You cannot evolve the image of God

  5. Catherine Casey says:

The God we worship did not use evolution as the means of creation because He didn’t want to.

  6. Madison Willoughby says:

To combine any type of evolution with the creation is to destroy the credibility of God’s word. If He can’t be trusted to document Creation as it happened, then how can He be trusted for anything else.

  7. Jereme McAlpin says:

God is so powerful that He did not need evolution.

  8. Simon Yew says:

You need to be careful. Evolution is a lie and that lie lead Nazi to think they are superior. Racism stem from evolution who makes everyone think some human race develop far less than others. These sort of mindset is what lead to many minorities lashing out against the white people calling them racist and creating problem for every poor nation. Just watch this video and it has information on human race and why biblical account is actually make all human equal in God’s eye.

  9. Ralph T. A. Ranger says:

Evolution by definition takes millions of year so it can not be done “in the blink of an eye” if it could then it wouldn’t be evolution.

That is like asking “since God can do anything can He draw a round square” if God draws something round which He can do, by definition it is a circle.

  10. Alexander Faburada says:

Evolution, gene mutating, etc. is proven science.
    But it never contradicts God.

    2 Peter:3.8
With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.

God is beyond space and time. He can make a billion years seem like a day. As he enacts his will, physics and science follow suit.

  11. Todd Carpentier says:

Of course he is… but he said via Moses that he didn’t create life that way, and he isn’t a liar. Plus – the evidence for macro-evolution is extremely flimsy and not based on science… so what’s your question again!?

  12. Steve McCormick says:

You can’t reconcile evolution with the fact that death didn’t occur until after the fall.

  13. Sheila Anne says:

Yes, God is powerful. After all he made everything.

  14. Tim Hickling says:

I think this is a pointless topic to debate. Hypotheticals from finite beings on an infinitely powerful God is a pointless endeavor.

  15. Matthew Boyce says:

    1) yes 2) that would be pointless 3) he didn’t because he told us how he did it 4) there’s plenty of evidence to corroborate the Genesis story.

  16. Andrew Azariah says:

Why would the omnipotent God resort to a windy process of trial and error to create ?

  17. Steve Taylor says:

Is he not powerful enough to shape and craft the whole cosmos and every creature in it over billions of years? Isn’t that significantly harder than just snapping your fingers and putting it all in place?

  18. Jeffrey Harrell says:

If God did evolution then he isn’t all powerful

  19. Tom Joseph says:

Why would He want to? And His Word contradicts evolution, so if you believe the Word you can’t believe evolution.

  20. Joseph Benhardt says:

I suppose but that is not what he said he did.

  21. Joshua Milner says:

Finally someone on here making sense.

  22. Karl Ernst Von Buddenbrock says:

Yes, but evolution makes no sense – even scientifically. On that basis alone I know he didn’t use it.

  23. Jo Kothenbeutel says:

Evolution speaks Billions of years old

Bible wise the Earth and universe created about 7,000 yrs old

  24. Arthur Adam Haglund says:

Well, the question is not ever about power, but what God revealed. He did not reveal evolution, but magnificent individualistic creative works.
    Instantaneous evolution vs creation?
    Then lie about it?
    What is the point?
