Question for an Atheist: If you were Satan what would you do to keep people from believing in God? Curious to see what answers they would give?

I’d fool them into believing that I am God, which is Satan’s plan for everyone. He disguises himself as an angel of light. He & his ministers & his churches quote the Bible Read Matt. 4:5-7

I would come to Christian apologetics and argue… If I was an atheist.

I wouldn’t do anything. People are doing a fine job removing God from their lives as it is.
I would watch from the highest mountain top and smile. -
What would things look like if Satan really took control of a city? Over half a century ago, Presbyterian minister Donald Grey Barnhouse offered his own scenario in his weekly sermon that was also broadcast nationwide on CBS radio. Barnhouse speculated that if Satan took over Philadelphia (the city where Barnhouse pastored), all of the bars would be closed, pornography banished, and pristine streets would be filled with tidy pedestrians who smiled at each other. There would be no swearing. The children would say “Yes, sir” and “No, ma’am,” and the churches would be full every Sunday…where Christ was not preached.

As what false teachers doing; Twisting scripture to be more sound like truth and biblical

Tell them theres no hurry

Keep them busy. No time for God and His word.

Do exactly what Americans are doing. Pressure the wealthy to pursue nothing else but wealth, make them refuse to offer basic human neccesisties, and encourage people to fight over the smallest differences

Create a false gospel that promotes the individual and his happiness rather than servitude and perseverance. Everybody will follow it and become so self absorbed that any question of it becomes personal so the person attacks without self examination. Oh and a lot of catchy phrases so nobody opens their actual bible.

Convince people that he won’t accept them unless they’re good enough… That He wants their works more than He wants their hearts

Since you cannot saw God there is no God. Don’t believe in those stupid things.. The bible is just a book written by man.. it is a fictional, there is no scientific evidence to support.. there is no such thing as Heaven or hell..

No need to ask what they’d do as satan, they already do what their father desires, they are of their father the devil, he is the father of lies.

Satan does not seek to keep people from believing in God. Satan only seeks to keep people from putting their faith in God.
