Mrs. Rachel Talley, age 85, of Cohutta, GA, passed away on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
A woman of unwavering faith, she dedicated her life to serving the Lord and advancing the Kingdom of Heaven. She was a true intercessor whose prayers covered her family, friends, and countless others throughout her life. Her relationship with God guided every part of who she was, and her quiet strength and spiritual devotion left a lasting impact on all who knew her.
She had a rare gift for listening. When you spoke with her, you felt seen, valued, and deeply cared for. Her presence brought comfort, wisdom, and encouragement. Family meant everything to her, and she loved fiercely and faithfully. She poured her heart into those she loved and remained devoted to them through every season of life.
She was loyal, determined, and full of spirit. Once she set her mind on something, there was no doubt she would find a way to make it happen. Her spunky, feisty nature brought laughter, strength, and unforgettable moments to her family and friends. She carried herself with resilience, conviction, and grace.
Though her absence leaves a tremendous void, her legacy of faith, love, perseverance, and devotion will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her. She will be dearly missed and forever remembered.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William B. and Frances Irene Gray Johnson.
