   They were never true believers in the first place. If one believes that salvation is synergistic then their understanding of salvation is insecure. Salvation is 100% work of the Triune God…it is a done deal.

   Backsliding is a Roman Catholic concept, injected to the Reformed Churches by the Arminians with the help of the Jesuits.

   Assurance of Salvation or the Perseverance of the Saints doctrine is a biblical view and was held by the Reformers and Calvinist.
