Remember, never, never used God’s precious grace as a license to sin!

Im not conviced that someone can do that, and here is why.
Romans 5:17
[17]For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.)
* Recieving grace abundantly causes us to reign in life through Christ.And…
Romans 6:14
[14]For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.* It would seem that if grace is actually recieved for what it truly is, sin stops. There is no conclusion that one uses grace as a license to sin, just failure to actually recieve it.

Calling God’s grace a license to sin is a complete mockery of it. If you need the threat of hellfire to do what’s right, by all means stay under the law. I’m not under the law, and I’d rather not use my liberty as an occasion to the flesh. There’s still earthly consequences for sin whether you’re under the law or under grace. And those under grace must undergo the chastisement of God if they are disobedient.
Hebrews 12:6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?

Its true what you say but we all continue to sin. When we have faith we feel the sting of sin in our mind and heart. The Spirit convicts us. We cannot stop sinning. Jesus told us even to look upon a woman with lust is adultery. To anger is to commit murder. The 10th commandment! What is left? That Jesus loves us and through His act on the cross we are saved.

The only thing I would add to this statement is this. Beware of cheap grace.

I know reading might be boring to many and you rather have someone agree with your thoughts but please don’t deceive you’re self that will get you no where!
There’s lots of scripture to read and learn from for a solid Christ like life don’t settle for anything less!

Any who claim to be Christians and argue God’s Grace is a licence for sin are liers because they’re not Christians. 1 John 1:6) If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.

The Israelites uses the sacrificial system for license as well (Jeremiah 7). Not a new problem.

Amen brother! But always use God’s grace as a refuge from our own unrighteousness. We are in the shadow of the cross when we live broken lives that trust in Him. We cannot perfect ourselves, therefore we go to our perfect High Priest to forgive us and be patient for those sins which cling to us. Ps. 103. He forgives all our sins. He remembers that we are dust.

God created sin, so it’s his will and free will to be a sinner.

What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin that grace may abound? By no means! How can we who died to sin still live in it?

Absolutely! Grace is given for obedience to the faith (Romans 1:5) whereby we may serve God with reverence and godly fear (Hebrews 12:28).

It would seem like this wouldn’t even need to be said, if someone is actually reading the Bible for themselves instead of making up a gospel which is NOT THE GOOD NEWS AT ALL.
