  1. Yazan Khawaja says:

    You can lose it
Some people can leave Christ just like Judas Iscariot

You have to keep the faith until the end, stay with Jesus till the end

Jesus said “he who endures to the end shall be saved”
    Matt 24:13

  2. Jo Kothenbeutel says:

No proof that Judas was saved to begin with

  3. Naathan Lewis says:

You have every right to abandon God, whether it be intentionally through choice, or unintentionally by your actions.

  4. Jason Cole says:

I disagree. People change, even though God doesn’t. If you fall away from the truth your heart changes. Fruits of labor sorta thing. And I don’t agree with the answers I’m fixing to get about that person never had the spirit to begin with. I believe a soul can be filled with spirit and through whatever circumstances fall away from Christ.

  5. Kevin Julien says:

It’s true you can’t lose it, but you can choose to reject it. God is much more than a gentleman and would never drag anyone into heaven against their will. Any gift can be willfully rejected.

  6. Earp Hickok says:

    II Peter 2

20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.

21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.

  7. Earp Hickok says:

22 But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

  8. Michael Schisler says:

    Said no scripture ever!

  9. Kimberlee Leslie says:

Because reformers conducted a business transaction and don’t have a relationship with Jesus.

  10. Zoey Granitz says:

YES!!!! THAT IS SO TRUE!!!!! Everything but believing God is evil but people with the Spirit don’t think that anywsy

  11. Doc Pip Thomas says:

I can only say….if you were tried in a court of law for the crime of being “saved”, will there be enough evidence to convict you.

Not talking salvation by works either. I mean if you claim to have salvation, what are you offering as evidence of that claim?

  12. Jireh D Hormann says:

Yup. Just don’t walk away from it.

  13. Jake Jordan says:

Well the Holy Spirit lives inside of saved people. Read Ephesians

    Read about Salvation
Do a topical study on it

The Ethophian Eunach knew he got saved and he got baptized right afterwards.

The whole household knew they got saved and they got baptized than.

At Pentecost people knew they got saved.

  22. Paul Mussell says:

These words were written in George Sodini’s journal the night before he shot 12 women killing 3 of them before shooting himself in the head. “Maybe soon, I will see God and Jesus. At least that is what I was told. Eternal life does NOT depend on works. If it did, we will all be in hell. Christ paid for EVERY sin, so how can I or you be judged BY GOD for a sin when the penalty was ALREADY paid. People judge but that does not matter. I was reading the Bible and The Integrity of God beginning yesterday, because soon I will see them.”

These are the words of the apostle Paul “No, I strike a blow to my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize.” 1 Corinthians 9:27. If even Paul, after having preached to others, was concerned about being disqualified we ought to also work out our own salvation with fear and trembling. Hebrews 3:14 “We have come to share in Christ, if indeed we hold our original conviction firmly to the very end.”

  23. Jon Robert says:

It is a gift. You can take the gift, use it, and it is effective.

Sad to see the apologetics page fall prey to so many internal debate drive by stuff rather than engaging evangelistically with nonbelievers. Does anyone recommend a page where the mods keep the focus on apologetics?

That is problem a topical study about anything, do a contextual study.

  32. Richard Spence says:

There’s a word that many/most forget to consider when talking about salvation. That word is HOPE!

If, you are saved by grace through faith (Eph 2: 8 -9) then salvation is not dependent on you. If you are a new creature in Christ Jesus (2 Cor 5:17) then you have been made entirely new and once that happens you cannot go back. The Father doesn’t look at your sin, He looks at Christ righteousness, always, so even though you may sin, you don’t live in a place called sin (Romans 5 and 6). Stop being sin conscience and start being righteousness conscience. Be blessed

  39. William Clark says:

I wish this was true, but I honestly don’t believe it is.

  47. Cilla Bogus Tattersall says:
  48. Harkynyhemi Hollushorlar says:

Salvation is without works, agreed! Salvation is by grace through faith, agreed! But salvation which was received by choice on our part cos its the choice of refusing to accept the free gift that God will judge at the end of the world, if this is so, then SALVATION CAN BE REJECTED by one’s deliberate action.

Paul wrote to Timothy about SEARING OF ONE’S CONSCIENCE WITH HIT IRON. Continual and deliberate sinning dulls humans perspective and reception to faith, GOD and all has done.

Assume that there is a heavy downpour of rain, and a man hold up a giant umbrella and ask you to come, the provision of the umbrella has nothing yo do with you, it was all of the provider’s benevolence, you didn’t do anything, now, assuming you heed the call, you remain saved from the downpour as long as you remain under the umbrella, you can choose to leave the umbrella, and the rain start beating you again.

The umbrella is liken to salvation, the man is liken to God/Jesus, the invited person is the once upon a time sinner who is now saved as he heed to come to the umbrella. He is saved and secure, devil love to make people think they are eternally saved and hence make them live recklessly. But when everyone knows that you can reject this free offer. Then it dawn in us that although God did it apart from us, we CAN REJECT SALVATION ALSO

  69. Jan Ang says:

Salvation is when the moment you accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, hence, you are now part of God’s family, we always stumble and do some wrong decisions since we are still here in this world but keep on running God knows that we are trying our best to obey Him, the most important thing is we are aware and we repent, no matter how bad we are if we try our best crawling towards God He is already happy with that, keep running the race no matter how hard it is, because God is waiting us at the finish line, smiling 🙂 God doesn’t require perfection, He only want a willing heart 🙂

    Revelations 22:19

  78. Roxy Wade says:

ONCE SAVED >>>ALWAYS SAVED!!!<<< By Roxy Wade, Apologist 1 John 2:19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for >>>if they had been of us, they would have continued with us;<<< but they went out that they might be made manifest, that none of them were of us. ---You may backslide if you're saved, and any sin is a back slide, but walk away, forever? NEVER! - That's the proof that you were never saved! If one truly believed that Jesus is the ONLY Savior - the ONLY thing between them and Eternal HELL, they would NEVER leave! Nor would they, if they knew the love of Jesus and loved Him in return.--- Ephesians 4:30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom >>>YOU WERE SEALED<<< for the day of REDEMPTION. --- NOT may be... WERE!--- Romans 8:30 Moreover >>>whom He predestined, these He also called;<<< whom He called, these >>>He also justified;<<< and whom He justified, these He also glorified. ---God DOESN'T make mistakes!--- Romans 8:33-34 33 Who shall bring a charge against >>>God’s ELECT?<<< >>>It is God who justifies.<<< 34 Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. Titus 3:5 NOT by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to HIS MERCY >>>HE SAVED US,<<< through the washing of >>>regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,<<< ---If it were up to you or me, we’d lose our salvation by the end of the day.--- John 3:18 “He who >>>believes in Him is NOT condemned;<<< but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. John 3:15 that whoever BELIEVES IN HIM should NOT perish >>>but HAVE eternal life.<<< Romans 8:38-39 38 For I am persuaded that NEITHER death nor life, NOR angels NOR principalities NOR powers, NOR things present NOR things to come, 39 NOR height NOR depth, >>>NOR ANY other >CREATED THING,< shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.<<< ---According to Scripture, we are a created thing.--- 1 John 5:11-13 11 And this is the testimony: that >>>God HAS given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.<<< 12 >>>He who has the Son HAS life;<<< he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. 13 These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, >>>that you MAY KNOW that you HAVE eternal life,<<< and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God. ---A Christian should have utter assurance in their salvation! Otherwise, they are relying, in full, or in part, on their ‘pulling this one off,’ based on their ‘good works,’ or in ‘their righteousness’ – NOT going to happen … you’re the problem, you’re the sinner! Christ is the solution, Him and Him ALONE! Don’t wallow in the false religion of Christ insufficiency! Jesus did NOT do His best and you do the rest. You CAN’T earn salvation – you DON’T deserve it! NO JESUS – NO SALVATION! Think of it like this, remove Jesus from the picture and you’re going where? Got it? It’s ALL JESUS!--- John 1:12 But as many as received Him, to them He GAVE the right to become children of God, >>>to those who BELIEVE in His name:<<< John 10:28-29 28 And >>>I GIVE them eternal life,<<< and they shall never perish; >>>neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand.<<< 29 My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and >>>no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand.<<< Romans 8:29-30 29 For whom He foreknew, >>>He also predestined<<< to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these >>>He also justified;<<< and whom He justified, these He also glorified. ---Not even you can mess up God’s plan for you! He already knew you’d use your free will to accept His offer of salvation.--- Ephesians 1:11-12 11 In Him also >>>we HAVE obtained an inheritance,<<< being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of >>>His will, 12 that we who first trusted in Christ should be to the praise of His glory.<<< ---Think you’re going to mess up His will for you…<<< Galatians 3:11 But that >>>NO one<<< is justified by the law in the sight of God is evident, for >>>“the just shall live by faith.”<<< Ephesians 2:8-9 8 For >>>by grace you HAVE BEEN SAVED through faith,<<< and that >>>NOT<<< of yourselves; >>>it is the GIFT OF GOD,<<< 9 >>>NOT<<< of works, >>>lest anyone should boast.<<< >>>You weren’t planning to take credit for the gift that God brought to the party were you…?<<< Galatians 2:16 knowing that a man is >>>NOT<<< justified by the works of the law >>>but by faith in Jesus Christ,<<< even >>>we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ<<< and >>>NOT<<< by the works of the law; for by the works of the law >>>NO<<< flesh shall be justified. ---No matter how you slice it and dice it, salvation is ALL from Jesus! Now is this saying, get saved and do nothing? NO! A saved Christian will have the Holy Spirit at work in them and He will find things for you to do – trust me – I need a day off! What it is saying, is that you will NOT work your way to salvation – NOT in full, NOT in part, NOT at all! Salvation is to His glory ALONE!--- Isaiah 11:5 >>>Righteousness shall be the belt of His loins,<<< And >>>faithfulness the belt of His waist.<<< Colossians 1:21-22 21 And you, who once WERE alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now >>>He HAS reconciled 22 in the body of His flesh through death,<<< >>>to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight—<<< ---…blameless, and above reproach >>>in His sight—<<<--- John 10:4-5 4 And when he brings out >>>his own sheep,<<< he goes before them; and >>>the sheep follow him, for they KNOW his voice.<<< 5 Yet >>>they will by no means follow a stranger, but will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers.”<<< John 5:24 Life and Judgment Are Through the Son >>>“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me HAS everlasting life,<<< and >>>shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.<<< >>>…has everlasting life…<<< Philippians 1:6 being confident of this very thing, that >>>He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ;<<< 1 John 2:25-26 25 And >>>this is the promise that He has promised us—eternal life.<<< 26 >>>These things I have written to you concerning those who try to deceive you.<<< ---Beware of wolves or that voice in your heart that asks, Did God really say? YES! He really said! Hebrews 9:15 And for this reason He is the Mediator of the new covenant, >>>by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions<<< under the first covenant, that those who are called may receive >>>the promise of the eternal inheritance.<<< John 4:13-14 13 Jesus answered and said to her, “Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, 14 but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But >>>the water that I shall give him WILL become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.”<<< Hebrews 12:28 Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which >>>CANNOT be shaken,<<< let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear.
