If there was nothing but “God” for an infinite past, what made him suddenly decide to wake up and create a universe? His own thoughts? Is he that slow witted?
The problem with their argument against this is that they are assuming that God “began” to exist. The argument they try to dispute is that everything that “BEGAN” to exist. God did not “begin” to exist. The Christian view of God is that He has always been. So it does not violate its own premise because He has no beginning. They argued against something we do not believe.
The cause of space time “the universe” must live outside of it because the cause existed before space time came into existence. Therefore if the cause of space time exists outside of it then it is not subject to space time. This allows for the cause of space time to be an eternal cause the only eternal thing that has been revealed to mankind is God.
“Everything that begins to exist has a creator” is a false statement. That’s what invalidates your arguement.
I actually said e everything has a cause Andy. The second law of thermodynamics.
Could not even get the first cause of Kalaam correctly hahha
