Someone in-boxed a FB message to me and I am sharing it anonymously. This is not a COG person so from that perspective I thought it was interesting.

“I went to a service last evening. Dr Tim Hill sang a(nd) preached. He’s a very good singer, and even better preacher. Very good message and delivery. But it still had that tinge of “performance” to it. And I noticed no one changed by it.”

I would gather from the comment that it was not an “anointed” message – the Holy Spirit was absent.

I don’t know what they meant by their observation that “no one was changed by it” How can we tell if someone was changed. However it may reflect that the reception of the audience was negligible!

What are your thoughts?
