SUBJECT: PASSING OF RUTH ISABEL JOGE DIÉGUEZ

It is with heavy hearts that we share the sad news of the recent losses suffered by Dr. Rigoberto and Sister Sara Ramos, overseers of the Mid-Atlantic Hispanic Region. Their beloved Ruth Isabel Joge Diéguez, Sister Sara Ramos’ sister, passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2023, in Guatemala, Guatemala. Dr. Rigoberto and Sister Sara immediately traveled to Guatemala to stand by Sister Ramos’ family during this difficult time and to bid farewell to her sister.

As Brother and Sister Ramos prepared to travel back to the USA, an additional sorrow struck the family: Dr. Ramos received the devastating news of the passing of his mother. Sister Serafina Saldaña Ramos, who was ninety years old, died on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, in Panama City, Panama.

 The Ramos family is enduring an incredibly challenging period. We kindly request your prayers for Dr. Rigoberto and Sister Sara and their families in Guatemala and Panama. May God’s comfort and solace embrace them during these times of profound loss.

SUBJECT: PASSING OF CHRISTOPHER CHARLES WHITE

We regret to inform you of the passing of Christopher Charles White, 36, of Gardendale, Ala. Christopher is the son of Vardaman and Crystal Hindman White and grandson of Dr. Robert White, former general overseer for the Church of God.

Family and friends will celebrate Christopher’s life in a memorial service Thursday, January 4, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. (CDT) at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to JDRF (formerly Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) or Marine Toys for Tots Foundation.

Please keep the White family in your thoughts and prayers.

Viewing/Receiving Family/Friends: 11:00 am – 1:00 pm EST

Funeral Service: 1:00 pm

Interment following service at Mount Olive Cemetery.

Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee Chapel has charge of arrangements.
