View this email in your browser

TO:  All Ministers
FROM:  The Reverend Dr. Timothy M. Hill, General Overseer, Church of God
DATE:  February 28, 2018
SUBJECT:  Ministerial Reports and Church Reports

As we prepare for the upcoming 77th International General Assembly, I wanted to remind all ministers of the guidelines regarding eligibility for election or appointment as found in the Minutes:

S29. INSTRUCTIONS FOR MINISTER, Item 9 states:  In order for any minister to be considered eligible for election or appointment by the International Executive Committee, General Council or General Assembly, the minister must be current on both personal ministerial reports and the local church reports with required finances from the church he/she pastors (if applicable).  Any exceptions must be approved by the International Executive Committee.  Further, this same measure applies to state/regional positions and boards.  Any exception at the state/regional level must be approved by the state/regional overseer in writing (73rd A., 2010).

To be in compliance with the above provision, all reports – both personal and church – must be current by May 1, 2018.

The status of both minister’s and church reports can be verified online via the reporting section of the Church of God website at http://www.churchofgod.org/online-reporting.  If you report via the online portal, simply log in using your username and password.  If you report via mail, please call Melody Goodwin in the Business and Records Office at (423) 478-7151 to check your reporting status.

As a reminder, the 77th International General Assembly registration and housing information is available online at http://www.ga18.org.
