The funeral for Dr. David C. Blair, International Director of Youth and Discipleship for the Church of God, was a fitting tribute to a life and ministry dedicated to serving youth.
115th Anniversary Celebration of the Azusa Street Revival
Apostle Fred and Wilma Berry, pioneers and caretakers of the Azusa Street Mission location, have been celebrating the “Azusafest” event for 15 years. They created the William J Seymour awards for leaders who carry that same spirit of humility and unity in the body of Christ.
2020 marks the centennial of the nineteenth Amendment, which granted US women the right to vote and was a huge step in gaining women’s equality.* Today, women still fight for equal rights and use recognition of women’s achievements as one manner to continue to effect positive change.

Title IX Suit Against Faith-Based Colleges Dismissed
The U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon ruled in favor of faith-based colleges and dismissed the lawsuit brought by current and former LGBTQ students who argued that Title IX, the civil rights statute that prevents discrimination on the basis of sex, allows religious schools to discriminate against them.

Everywhere I go Christians ask me if we are on the verge of World War III. And most of them don’t like my answer: I don’t know. But I’m not worried. I’m keeping my eyes on Jesus no matter what happens!
Group Applauds Governor for Signing ‘Heartbeat Bill’
BOISE, Idaho — Stanton Healthcare is celebrating Gov. Brad Little’s signing of Senate Bill 1309 which amends the Fetal Heartbeat Preborn Child Protection Act that was passed last year. The new bill includes a private enforcement mechanism modeled after the Texas law which has already withstood several federal court challenges, including not being blocked by the U.S. Supreme Court or the state of Texas’ Supreme Court.

Junior Talent Showcases Diversity of Church of God Youth
For the second time at a Church of God General Assembly, young talent was on display, on the stage, on palettes, and on tables as Church of God young people between the ages of 7-12 participated in Junior Talent last month at the 78th International General Assembly in San Antonio, Texas.
In recent months we have been riveted by violent outbursts among our youth. We have witnessed random mass shootings carried out by young assailants as well as alarming rates of suicide among teenagers.
