The Church of God has raised a lot of money…

The Church of God has raised a lot of money with the Israel Initiative yet have not won (maybe one here or there) any Jews. They have contributed a little money to assist some agencies to help relocate and feed Russian Jews. They have given them places to live and assisted them socially.

However very little of the money goes to Jews. It goes to the Palestinians and they are given Christian schooling and support to build churches. We have missionaries in Israel but they are reaching the Arabs and many are anti-Zionist in their political views. Often these missionaries have blocked their doorways to keep Israeli soldiers from searching their quarters for illegal undocumented Palestinians. The Israel initiative has paid for this while not reaching the Jews.

It is good they are ministering to the Palestinians and others. But isn’t it misleading to raise money for one thing then use it for another. Don’t we call that extortion and fraud?

I believe the gospel is to the Jew first. But I am also in favor of evangelizing Gentiles. Evangelism is also beneficial in opposing dangerous radical political views.

Brother: Evangelism is good and that is not the point made hear. There is no difference than raising money for a building fund, then using it for a pastor’s vacation. Which both are good. The Gentiles need to be evangelize, though tell the truth instead of hiding your hand.
