The God Card
“Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God…”
―Colossians 1:1
“The God card”, it’s a real thing.
Oh, you don’t see it, but its there and when you play it the results are live-changing.
I know it makes people nervous, it’s a conversation stopper and besides, it sounds arrogant. But nevertheless, do not be afraid to use the God card. The moment you can truly say, “this is the will of God” you are invincible.
Of course, the God card should never be used as a short cut to get other people to do what you want them to do. It should only be used to get you to do what God wants you to do.
So make it a regular practice to not act until you can truthfully say, “this is the will of God.”
There are a lot of powerful cards in the deck of life and other people don’t mind playing them against you.
There are always people who can outgun you intellectually. There will always be someone higher up the chain of command. There will always be someone with more leverage, resources, and firepower.
But there’s one card that trumps them all – the God card.
But when you drop that card it’s case closed.
And whether the world agrees or disagrees, whether they get on board or not, the man operating his life according to the will of God is never for sale and ultimately never stoppable.
The ONE THING for today: Don’t act until you can truthfully for say, “This is the will of God.” But once you’ve played that card, don’t give in to anything or anybody. For ultimately, you will always be on the right side of history.
